District Semifinals Standouts

Finley did a tremendous job as a driver, and in a game where points were hard to come by, her ability to get to the rim was the most significant difference in the offenses. Finley's go-ahead layup with 42 seconds left was also one of the most significant moments of the game. Addie's three-point shooting over the last few weeks has been phenomenal, and that didn't change on Wednesday. She finished with 21 points and a handful of threes. Addie sometimes operates as another ball handler and excels as a spot-up shooter. Jayla Alford came up huge in West Potomac's win against South County. Jayla is a good athlete and does much of her best work offensively in the paint. She is a good roller and an excellent driver. She is a great rebounder and does well on the offensive glass. Jayla did all these things in a 3-point Semifinal win.
