[player_tooltip player_id='719276' first='Claire' last='Kang']'s move to [program_tooltip program_id='1623113' first='Virginia' last='Academy'] proved to be a seamless fit, and because of injury, a much-needed one for the program. Claire is a true Point Guard who can dictate a game with her ball handling and IQ. She is a great passer, especially when she uses her handle and speed to get downhill, and she is a solid three-point shooter. She came up big for this team late in the year and finished second-team all-state.

[player_tooltip player_id='640501' first='Sydney' last='Moore'] has shot the ball at a high level throughout her career at [program_tooltip program_id='1623113' first='Virginia' last='Academy']. In the final, she was lethal, knocking down a bunch of threes, and all year she was terrific for a VA Academy team that wasnt 100%. The range of her shooting is elite, and she is the type of off-ball guard that can open up your offense. She was first-team all-state and joins her teammate in my backcourt.

Another highly elite shooter here is [player_tooltip player_id='468759' first='Sravya' last='Janapati']. Sravya really found her footing in her second year at PVI, and she was the second-best player for one of the better squads in Virginia. Sravya's range is excellent, and every shot she takes looks good. The growth I saw from Sravya this year was that she did more creating for herself off the bounce, and with PVI not having a true PG, she did a good job as a playmaker. Sravya was first-team all-state and second-team all-conference in the WCAC.

You knew [player_tooltip player_id='433871' first='Jordyn' last='Jackson'] would come into this year as the best player in NOVA following her move to St. James from Sidwell Friends. Jordyn has a high-level blend of size and skill, and she is a threat to score wherever she is on the court. She was the best player on the best team in Virginia and dominated every time she stepped on the court. The Maryland commit finishes ranked in the top 10 nationally and was named First-Team All-Met.

[player_tooltip player_id='579891' first='Demi' last='Gilliam'] capped off her excellent career with her best yet at PVI. There may not be a better finisher going to their left than Demi, and she is a two-way star. She is a disruptive defender with good athleticism and length, and she guards multiple positions. Her passing is terrific, and she was by far this team's best playmaker. The jump shot is not there yet, but besides that, she does basically everything at an elite level. She was first team all-state and first team all-conference in the WCAC.
