She is such a force in the paint, and doesn’t get rattled when she’s often double teamed. Her footwork is strong, reliable hands always ready for the rock, and executes at a high level both offensively and defensively! (Below on defense, Featured Photo)
Eleanor Schroeder- 2024, Columbus Academy: Eleanor’s defense stands out to me! She has quick reactions to the ball, and anticipates passes very well! No problem going coast to coast and making buckets with contact.
Samantha Morris- 2025, Columbus School for Girls: The ball is drawn to Morris like a magnet, particularly on defense! And she forces turnovers very well! She has wheels, which compliments her defense and drives to the basket!
Gillian Spangler- 2025, Columbus School for Girls: Spangler is consistent- when you watch her play, you will find her picking passes, playing strong help side, and ripping the ball away from opponents! And she’s a shooter!
Callie Baker- 2026, Utica: Baker knows how to capitalize and make buckets, particularly on transition. And her defense is solid! Plays aggressive and finds the open teammate. And she’s not afraid of contact- her focus is on the basket!
