The 5’9″ CG, is New Mexico’s no. 1 ranked player in the class of 2025 and is a four-star recruit, ranked no. 31 in the HoopGurlz Super60, according to ESPNW. Hines is a three-level scorer with an elite handle, who can create off the dribble, and is exceptional in isolation.
Bella, entered the game, just 33-points shy of the milestone. Despite the 74-53 road loss, Hines went on to score 37 points, bringing her career total to 2,004 points.
What does the milestone mean to Hines: “It means a lot to me, especially just to know that all my hard work and dedication has payed off and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been able to hit this milestone.”
The confident Hines had a good feeling on the possession where she hit the milestone. “I knew coming down the floor, I was hitting 2k points that possession,” said Hines, “As I soon I got enough space to get off my shot, I knew it was going in.”
When asked to rank the accomplishment, Hines stated, “this accomplishment definitely is super important and [it was] high on the list of the accomplishments I wanted to reach.”
This season (2023-24), Bella has made 17 appearances for the Eagles (12-5, 1-2) and is averaging an astonishing 33.6 points per game, which leads the entire state, shooting 42 percent from the field with 83 3PM. For her career, Bella has appeared in 71 games, posting 28.2 points per game with a field goal percentage of 41 and has 221 career 3PM.
