Chloe Eeten
Chloe Eeten
Eeten was the sole reason behind the OT win for the Bluffs today. She made countless plays in the extra “quarter”. From knocking down her free throws, to two big shots from behind the arc and at the elbow.
MVP of the day, Lily showed up and showed out for her program today. 27pts, 11 boards and 3 steals. The senior guard couldn’t miss from beyond the arc and she put a ton of pressure on the defense when she attacked the rim.
Highlights
A lengthy player who’s still figuring out her skillset, but plays with a ton of energy. She has a long wing span that allows her to cover a large amount of space on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, she can finish near the rim and can be active on the boards. Olivia finished the night with 8pts, and 7 rebounds.
Finishing the game with only 2 misses total (6-8), and only one miss from behind the line.. Baer put on a scoring clinic. From beyond the arc to right underneath the rim… she couldn’t miss. The frame, the length and the ability to stretch the floor has separated her from a ton of players in her class.
At 5-11, Brinkmann moves like a guard. She can attack the basket or facilitate the entire possseion. She has the length, the size to be a threat in the post as well, but with this program she’s utilized as a guard. Strong with the handle, and knows what angles to take. Tremendous upside.
A strong mobile forward who can play inside and out. Shes reliable from the elbow, and shows some aggression when attacking the paint. Makayla puts a lot of pressure on the defense as well as solid numbers in the box score.
The length, the size and the ability to play multiple positions is what sets Summer apart from a ton of players today. She has great instincts and a feel for the game that can’t go unnoticed… and she’s only a freshman.
