Baer is a stretch wing who can get it going from deep at any point, and Butler is a program that leans on its wings to score at a high level. Even coming back from rehab, don’t be surprised if she finds a way to carve out and earn solid minutes early.

It’s a rarity that players get better as they get to a higher level.. but Baer has that aura about her that points in that direction. From the outside of the arc.. this kid has no fear and is absolutely one of the best shooters in the state. But her energy on the boards is what I think Butler will love most about her. After having a dominant tournament showing over the holidays.. it’s easy to see how seamlessly she will fit into Butler’s program. Hell of a talent.

Baer made her commitment to Butler earlier in the summer, which complements her skill set perfectly, and vice versa. PND has been downstate the past two years, and a big reason why is Baer’s ability to stretch the floor and provide a consistent presence from the outside. There’s no limit on how far she’ll shoot it from, and every shot has a huge chance of falling.

Butler, in my opinion, is the perfect spot for Baer and what her talent is. She’s a floor spacer and floor stretcher, and this program is heavy on allowing their wings to be a focal point in their offense. If not her freshman year, I can for sure see Lexi competing during her sophomore year.

Baer’s ability to stretch the floor is what colleges will look to utilize her for. She has a long frame and can show real aggression on the defensive side of the ball as well. Her length allows her to switch between wings, guards, and posts when needed. Continuing to show her ability to get shots off in all situations will be key for her in gaining even more college interest than she already has.

The D1 offers are piling up, and it’s clear why. As the college game shifts towards a shooter’s world, players like Lexi are becoming essential for a successful program. Whether it’s a 3&D skill set or searching for a 3 level scorer that can stretch the floor to create space, Lexi can fill any role effectively. She has a the mix of great length and a strong basketball IQ.

is in the game and her team only has a small amount of players, she moves around the floor at an impressive rate. At this event, Baer’s team seemed to be missing a few prospects and that set the stage for her to play almost every position at one point. She was running things off the dribble as PG, she was attacking from the wing with ability to drive or shoot off the catch, she was scoring with her back to the basket near the mid-post once she caught and squared up, and she was making easy buckets near the rim whenever she would have a favorable size matchup with her physicality at 6’0.
All in
all, Baer has a very high ceiling in this sport. She can really do it all at a high rate and her shooting ability is definitely going to take her places before her basketball journey is said and done.

is someone that put together a rememberable high school season this past few months and she is ready to get on the road this weekend to compete. Baer is a 6’0 Combo Guard/Small Forward, that has long arms and knowledge of the game. She demonstrated this past few months that she is a high level scoring threat on the offensive end, while also being someone who can get you numerous stops on defense. Every time she takes the floor, she seems to make things happen. She is a smart individual that understands everything is a process. Finishing the game with only 2 misses total (6-8), and only one miss from behind the line.. Baer put on a scoring clinic. From beyond the arc to right underneath the rim… she couldn’t miss. The frame, the length and the ability to stretch the floor has separated her from a ton of players in her class.

Lexi has been a huge piece for MWE. She brings size, range and can score from multiple levels. Lexi has a tremendous amount of potential and it has been displayed on numerous occasions throughout the summer. A skilled player that could be impactful at the next level.
