Kyrah Davis did a lot stepping up for her team handling the ball, driving in some open lanes, and getting to the rim for some points. She didn’t back down from battling contact when needed. She set herself up at the top of the key playing tough defense knocking the ball away and using these turnovers to create some points. She even snuck into passing lanes grabbing steals to take the other direction.
Ashanti Fox had the first three point bucket of her game pulling up making the basket to give her team the first lead of the game, and she continued hitting these shots for the rest of the game. She brings a lot of energy for her team grabbing the steal and pushing it up the court for an opportunity for an old fashioned three point play. She even had a nice defensive stop drawing a charge on a fast break gaining the possession again for her team.
Sarah Strong is such a playmaker getting the ball to her teammates to score, and she takes matters into her own hands getting inside scoring off of offensive rebounds. She has nice post moves to show off on the block using her drop step to score, and she made her points count from the free throw line. She sees the floor exceptionally well knowing how to make the dish to her teammates, especially the full court passes to get some fast break points.
Kylie Torrence was blocking shots with ease in the paint protecting the basket. She did a nice job pushing the ball up the court grabbing steals and making nice dishes to her teammates for some scoring opportunities. She was doing a nice job playing all over the court even making fantastic backdoor cuts losing her defender and scoring her points. Her IQ is apparent knowing when to pull up and when to take the ball all the way to the hoop.
Madison Drayton got the scoring started for her team hitting a three ball with ease, and she did a nice job attacking the basket earning a trip to the free throw line. She was making some nice cuts to the basket scoring at the rim, and she showed off her versatility on the other end blocking shots in the paint. She had a nice jab step creating space and pulling up for the open look. Her drives created some open looks for her teammates, too. She consistently found ways to get the rebounds battling on the block for some tough boards.
