I am 35 years old and I still remember winning my back to back middle school championships. You will never forget the memories with your teammates and you will never forget bringing home a championship! You are in a different class and you officially can call yourself a Champion! Every single player and coach played an important role to accomplish this!

First, I'll start with the undefeated 28-0, Rogersville City Lady Warriors! What a HUGE accomplishment?! When I watched this team against Sevier County Junior High live, I knew that both teams were incredibly special! According to the TMSAA stats, Molli Stuffle finished with 10 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1252936' first='Rylee' last='Sivert'] finished with 11 points, Kenady Deal with 15 points, Addie Lawson with 9 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1248884' first='Chloe' last='Pearson'] with 14 points, and Harlen Hayes with 2 points. If you are looking at points, that is what we like to call, "everyone ate!" All season the athletes were more concerned with winning than individual stats or playing time! Numerous athletes can score in double figures, numerous athletes could take over at any given moment, and numerous athletes are well on their way to elite status! A huge congratulations to the coaching staff and the entire team on having a remarkable season and redefining what perfection on the basketball court looks like!

Next, we have the AA class champions, Prescott South! Coach Rachel Vann had her team ready. No knock to Three Oaks Middle, but it felt like the championship game between Alcoa and Prescott South! According to the TMSAA stats, Sadie Garrett scored 8 against Alcoa, [player_tooltip player_id='1252915' first='Kelby' last='Stone'] scored 10 against Alcoa, Lilly Brock scored 9 against Alcoa, and Bella Phy dropped in 4 against Alcoa. When Prescott South put up these numbers and beat Alcoa, I think most of us knew that they would be the AA champs! When you have athletes that buy in to what you are teaching, you bring home championships! The athletes stayed fully engaged and played to their strengths! Remember, "you are 100% in control of your buy in." Did you show up every day and work hard? Are you a great teammate? Are you coachable? Do you put your team first? You can ask the athletes and Coach Vann these questions, and I can guarantee that Coach Vann will say yes to all the questions regarding her athletes. Congratulations on an exceptional run Prescott South. Your hard work paid off and you are Champions!

Last, we have the AAA champions, Sevier County Jr. High! Aubree Thompson was special! Thompson dropped 17 points in the championship game! When I watched Sevier County live earlier in the season, I stated that Thompson is a special talent! She is definitely one of the top 8th graders! According to the TMSAA site, Gemma Osborne scored 5, Brylee Valentine scored 4, Addison Brewer scored 4, Natalie Craft scored 3, and Hannah Madison scored 2! Remember, "Defense is about being relentless, from the first minute to the last." This team played great defense all season! One of the most relentless teams that you will find! Congratulations on an incredible run to the championship! You all definitely earned & deserved it!

A few quotes by the great Pat Summitt, "Offense sells tickets, defense wins games, rebounding wins championships."

My personal favorite, "Here's how I'm going to beat you. I'm going to outwork you. That's it. That's all there is to it."

To the athletes and coaches, you did it! You outworked your opponents and you played unselfishly together! Congratulations again to (A) Rogersville City, (AA) Prescott South, and (AAA) Sevier County Junior High on their championship wins!
