Jerin Truesdale immediately showed toughness on both ends of the court attacking the basket scoring through contact and taking on a tough defensive assignment. She gets after the ball diving on the floor for any loose possession. She was using power dribbles to get into position in the paint and score two. She knows how to take over games attacking the basket weaving around her defenders to get the bucket.
Reese Wilson comes right in ready to score showing off her versatility handling her own in the paint. She does a nice job posting up underneath and fronting her opponents on defense. She is always ready to shoot no matter where she is on the court, and she anticipates her opponents well on defense jumping in front of passes to grab the steal. She had some nice shot blocks in the paint on defense as well.

Laura Lassiter is so quick with the ball exploding to the basket off the pass and going to work with the dribble if needed. She makes smart adjustments as she attacks the basket scoring at the rim. She was all over the court on defense deflecting passes and crashing the boards. She even showed off her ability to block some shots protecting the basket.
Molly Burns knows how to respond to baskets from her opponents scoring eight straight points off her shot from deep and picking up the steal to push the other direction hitting a solo fast break for two points. She loves to push the tempo getting the ball up the court whether she’s making the smart pass up to her teammates or handling the ball herself no matter what kind of pressure she sees.

While the seniors certainly took care of business, they were also helped by some underclassmen on both sides.
Autumn Washington was scoring on all levels and had an exceptional second half. She attacks the basket so well backing up her defender and being able to elevate over them to knock down her shot. She uses her wingspan on both ends deflecting passes and blocking shots on defense to going up high and meeting the pass on offense. She can handle all types of players on the other end, too, from quick guards to those posting up against her.
