All these prospects have evolved their games over the course of their career and starting to make it count on the floor. Let’s take a look.
Andrews is heading to Cornell next year coming off a strong senior season at The Grace School. Andrews has a quiet confidence to her about her game. She can get to the basket, knock down shots from anywhere on the court, and impacts the game on the defensive end. Andrews is fundamentally sound and makes her teammates better by making the right play. Loves to play up top at the point forward, and find cutters to the basket.
Ziogas is natural hooper that has great mechanics on her shot. She can handle the ball and get to anywhere she wants on the court. She plays with a high level of confidence when she is out on the floor. She can play off pick and rolls and execute either option while attacking. She creates a lot of motion with her handle by finding gaps and attacking the defense to exploit.
Williams plays a physical style of basketball and can handle the ball attacking the basket. She is extremely versatile, possesses good defensive instincts and has great court vision with her passing ability. Loves to run the floor in transition and find open teammates or take it to the rack herself. Shows great shooting mechanics and limitless range from the perimeter.
Williamson is heading to Marist next season and coming off 35 point game this month, and a CHSAA Player of the Year award. She has a deadly hesi move to beat you on or off the dribble. She is an elite shooter from the perimeter and can get anywhere on the court with her handle. She is shifty in the paint, has a high IQ, and plays with physicality and toughness to her game. Williamson is a closer and wants the ball with a chance to win it. She can run the floor in transition to set teammates up or take it to the rack herself. When the ball is in her hands, she’s a threat always.
Barr-Buday is averaging 16 points and 12 rebounds per game this season for Nichols. She is a double-double machine and is an elite rebounder that can dominate the paint on both ends of the floor. Excels with passing in transition and finding open teammates on the run. Her mid range game is developing along with her range from the perimeter. Has good footwork in post and can play the point forward position to perfection.
