Although she missed their last tournament game on Saturday, Noel did show good things in their previous game I attended last week. I love the way she facilitated the offense including a great outlet on the break. Excellent court vision and can find her teammate on the break. She has the ability to score in bunches and is a good leader for her team.
Highlights
Eva is a very active player on the floor, getting to her spots and creating opportunities to score. She has good handles, and a very good court sense which contribute to the success of her team. She plays on a team where she is often overlooked for honors, but she is very skilled and a poised, team-first guard.
Highlights
Jordyn was the unquestioned leader for this team, with a good basketball IQ, and a knack for the rim. Can attack well and battle through contact with her physical frame. Can guard multiple positions and expect her to continue to grow her game into the next level. She had a great career at Catholic Central and looks to shine in college when she gets there in the fall.
Javonah Jordan

Javonah caught any attention quickly when I saw her in sectionals last week. She is very athletic and loves to get downhill to get to the rim. Will either finish or draw the defenders, allowing her to distribute to her teammates with good court vision. Defensively she puts pressure on you with active hands and can anticipate the game.
Saw her in their upset over the #1 team in the state. Ava anticipates the game well and has a tough demeanor from the guard spot. I like her court awareness and ability to create for her team. Good basketball IQ with solid footwork while moving ell without the ball. Her game has really improved since I last saw her. (featured photo above)
Maryn Gross
Maryn Gross
Mary is one of the most underrated kids in the Dayton area, not only is she capable of scoring, her defense is stellar. She is very good off the ball, can force mistakes and her basketball IQ is tremendous. She makes the right decisions on the court. This was the first time I have seen Miami East this season, she is a good leader.
In their sectional championship win over Springfield, Centerville rode the hot hand of Bella as she will take the big shots in the big games, she dropped two deep 3s in the corner in their big win. Moves around the perimeter well without the ball. She has developed into a very solid and productive guard for the Elks.
