Soo much fun. We saw some unbelievable things happen. New champions, same champions, new winners for Miss Tennessee, so many new accomplishments. I’m going to tell you, this senior class, they are special. I have always said that. As you all know, the rankings for the 2024 class dropped earlier this week and let me tell you, folks stocks have risen! Haha. Real talk, this class all across the board elevated their game as well as the confidence in their teammates. Hands down this class made a lot of knows and set the bar high for those to follow.
As you all know, it’s that time of year again where we talk about stock risers and so forth. Look, so many people did a tremendous job out there. I know they don’t get their flowers as much, but we see you. This class left a lasting impression and I personally just wanted to say thank you for all that you did.
Here are some 2024 stock risers who shot up the rankings.
Celeste Reed Celeste Reed 5'11" | C White Co. | 2024 State TN (5’11/Sr./C/ White Co.)– Just a beast in the paint. Established her dominance early and often, was just tough to deal with. A walking double-double who owned the boards, owned the paint, and created a problem for coaches to game plan for. Players didn’t want to challenge her, but she went out there and just got it done.
Carrington Jones Carrington Jones 5'8" | CG Bartlett | 2024 State TN (5’8/Sr./CG/ Bartlett)– Ms. Jones. Cold-blooded. Hooped with a lot of energy. Talk about a great two-way player who just got it done. A downhill threat when she had the ball in her hands, if she got a paint touch, it was hard to stop her. Defense and rebounding was her bread and butter. Had a sensational year and will go onto hoop at Auburn-Montgomery next year.
Daisy Gale Daisy Gale 5'8" | PG PCA | 2024 State TN (5’8/Sr./CG/ PCA)– A Mars Hill commit who played the game with determination. A multi-level scoring threat who did it all. She was active on D, put the ball in the hole, and brought the juice on a nightly basis. A very talented kid who helped elevate her ball club to new heights.
Erianna Thomas Erianna Thomas 5'5" | PG Pearl-Cohn | 2024 State TN (5’5/Sr./CG/ Pearl-Cohn)– Don’t judge a book by its cover, this young lady can hoop. A 3 level scoring threat who inflicted pain on her opponents. She got after it on both ends of the floor. An exciting ball of fire, she found the bottom of the net at a consistent clip. Tough as nails, this kid stepped up to the challenge every single night.
Kelsie Johnson Kelsie Johnson 5'6" | SG Silverdale Baptist | 2024 State TN (5’6/Sr./SG./ Silverdale Baptist)– Sharpshooter who could score the rock. Didn’t matter from where, she found the bottom of the net at a consistent clip. Her tenacity and heart helped elevate her ball club. She was a lynchpin to their success and got it done every single night.
Layla Bouldin Layla Bouldin 5'7" | SG Van Buren Co. | 2024 State TN (5’7/Sr./SG/ Van Buren Co.)– Super tough kid who is a 3 level scoring threat. She could put the ball on the floor and slice to the rim or spot up and release it from the arc. Was tough to defend and was an important piece to her team’s success.
Carlyn Burdette Carlyn Burdette 6'1" | PF Collierville | 2024 State TN (6’1/Sr./PF/ Collierville)– Great size that could beat you inside and out. Defensively, she can sit down and guard, rebound, and block shots. Offensively, she could work the blocks and the mid rang levels, but shoot daggers from deep. Had a tremendous senior season.
Bailey Ford Bailey Ford 5'7" | SF Beech | 2024 State TN (5’7/Sr./SF/ Beech)– Built Ford Tough!. Kid could get to the rim, launch from deep, spin move into a pull up J. Tough kid for sure. Was big on the defensive end and just has a great feel for the game. The Kentucky State commit is going to do big things at the next level.

( 5’9/Sr./SG/ GCA)– A hard-working senior who just left everything she had on the floor. A multi-level scoring threat who just competed to the final whistle. Offensively she could put the ball on the floor and get down hill or make it rain from the arc. Defensively, she was solid, was a problem especially if she was guarding you. Solid kid who will be taking her talents across the pond to hoop at St. Andrews in Scotland!
