Thomas had an incredible season for Pearl-Cohn. She really turned herself into the complete package of a PG….She’s always been a shift downhill attacker, but this year she really added new components to her game that made her a full fledge Miss Basketball candidate. Every night she was thinking about what PGs need to think about–how do I get my teammates involved? Does the speed of the game match the speed we want to play? She controlled the game all season long for PC.

One of our favorite seniors got a big-time senior night win: she went off for 25 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals. In typical Thomas fashion, she dominated the game on both ends, and offensively was just as effective as a playmaker as she was a scorer. Kid can do it all!

I’ve become a huge Thomas fan after watching loads of film on the kid…and I just think her game is perfectly modern. She’s incredibly well rounded and does everything….she’s like a more skilled Draymond Green…a facilitator that can also score when needed but simply has a the “passing gene” in her DNA. She’s also a high level defender every game. In Tuesday night’s win locking up a regular season district championship, she finished with a near triple double again: 19 points, 7 assists, 7 steals, and 4 rebounds.

A Miss Basketball candidate that I’ve only mentioned once! And she’s the type of player I love: impacts the game on many levels, and plays on both ends. The 5’3 Sr PG is averaging: 16 points, 6 assists (2nd in 2A), 4 steals (5th in 2A), and 5 rebounds per game. She recorded a quadruple double earlier this year with 16/14/11/11! She will also surpass the 1,000 point mark very soon. Thomas is a superb basketball player that just “get’s it.” Well done young lady.

The Pearl-Cohn Sr PG has put together a tremendous season, and has been one of the best Nashville PG’s all season long. Thomas is averaging 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and six assists. She recorded a quadruple-double earlier this season with 17 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists and 11 steals in a win over Overton earlier this season.

Pearly-Cohn has come out this year with some bite! And that’s due in large part to Thomas’ leadership from the PG spot. She’s averaging nearly 7 assists per game, and carries herself like a floor general. She is the engine that makes Pearl Cohn go.

Thomas is putting together a phenomanal senior season for Pearl Cohn. She’s currently averaging 17.6 points, 6 assists (a great number!), and 5 rebounds (a another great number for a guard!). Only standing 5’4, the senior guard is putting together a statistical season that goes beyond height. Watch her play, and it’s obvious that her game has a well-roundedness that you simply don’t often see.
