McLucas is a 6'0 Combo Guard/Small Forward, depending on what her team asks of her. This season she moved around and dominated any position that was given to her. When you account for her skill set of a Guard and her natural length, you start to realize how impressive she could really become on the hardwood. She is someone that understands that she may have to adapt in any given moment but if she can do that properly, she knows that she is going to find a lot of success. The best part about McLucus to myself is that she can beat you in so many ways, all while being a game-changer on the defensive side of the ball. She moves effortlessly down the floor, almost like she is floating whenever she is taking steps and that's something that stands out to anyone observing. I'm excited to see what McLucas can do on the AAU floor this Spring. She will be suiting up with ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB, a top AAU program throughout the state. If she can find her niche and she continues to work hard, I would be shocked if she didn't have collegiate recruiters reaching out over these next few months. Nelsen is a multi-sport athlete, that is versatile in what she can do the floor. She is someone that isn't going to hurt you too much throughout a contest, while being able to bring some positives each and every night. Nelsen is athletic, smart, and dedicated. When she is in the season, she is mentally ready to go in any given situation. I would say that her best ability is her athletic ability and her ability to make herself available to her teammates. She understands her spacing pretty well and isn't afraid to mix it up with bigger players if need be. I didn't see a ton of Nelsen this previous winter but hopefully that switches up over the next few months. She does too many good things on the floor. She is a prospect with great size, athleticism, and knowledge of the game. Last season she came into every contest and gave it her all, leaving it all on the floor. Tcheuhchoua is someone that can impact a game offensively on any given night but her best ability comes on the defensive side of things. She is the type of competitor that can stick with a really fast PG or she can switch and handle the job of guarding a Post player inside the middle of the lane. She stays disciplined and doesn't jump on pump fakes, all while being someone who gets A TON of tips and deflections near the rim. If she doesn't get a tip, that's okay as her outstretched arms are usually enough to alter an opponents shot on a consistent basis. The skill that Tcheuhchoua has is raw. If she continues to be put in positions to be successful by her teammates, while expanding her game in the off-season, there is no reason that collegiate recruiters wouldn't be reaching out in the off-season. She is physically gifted and intelligent. Allen has a smart head on her shoulders, a nice shooting ability from any angle on the floor, and some confidence in her game. More times than not, Allen is making moves first and asking questions later. She is always one of the first players down the floor in transition, looking to spot up in an open area. If not, she does a great job of getting out of the way and letting the play unfold in front of herself. Defensively, she is just as good. She isn't a liability and she understands her assignments. As a coach, you can't ask for much more than that. She isn't going to hurt you on either side of the ball, while usually being a positive more times than not. Going into this AAU season, I'm hoping Allen can put together another impressive campaign. Myers is a Shooting Guard, that can do plethora of good things for her teammates on the floor. She is a high-end shot maker, while being smart enough to know when she should let it go, compared to rotating the ball for a better look. Defensively, she is someone that displays quick hands and an act for getting tips/defections. More times than not, she is sprinting to close out with short, choppy steps. If she gets beat, she is fantastic at recovering toward the ball or help side, depending on what is needed of her. I didn't get a chance to see Myers and her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] team compete last season but hopefully that will change. This program is one that has some HIGH-END recruits so it wouldn't surprise me if this group makes another big run at another national championship over the next 6 months.
