2026 Rankings Passes 130 Prospects [FREE]
Tabbing players from every classification as well as a non-KSHSAA school the March class rankings update saw more than a dozen players added. Prospects included now number more than 130. The update saw substantial change to the top 25 and includes debuters in the top 10. A great amount of upward movement as well as sliding occurred due to a variety of reasons including growth on players’ games relative to their peers and more information was learned about the individual player.
Summer ball is when players find the most opportunities for skill growth. And with another senior class graduating more players in the class will be filling varsity shoes and taking on more leadership. As more impact players emerge growth of and changes in the 2026 class rankings can be expected to be substantial over the next couple of quarters.
I would like to thank fellow Kansas scouts Jeremy Deckard and Adrian Maloney for their contributions. We draw from a wide range of resources to create the rankings. We catch games in person and online, study highlights; read reports; and communicate with a wide range of people to distill the information down to compile the extensive lists. Especially in the summer through fall months players get seen by other PGH scouts in other states and often show up, even if not tagged, in write-ups for other states. Players out due to injury or other personal reasons are not removed. I personally would like to thank parents, fans, other media and sports writers, coaches at a variety of levels, and especially the players for helping keep our knowledge level high. The news, photos, video, reports, and comments you have shared are immensely helpful.
