Cole gave me a glimpse of what was coming when I caught her with the Lady Thunder yet seeing her add more with her high school team early in the season had me smiling. Her explosiveness coupled with her upside is going to create some problems because she has a variety of moves to attack the basket, her spin is special as well as her change of pace. Body control and passing off the dribble are also nice

Burns is showing she can play multiple positions which is going to have several next level coaches placing her on their short list. She’s just under “the magic number” which is 6’0, she can drop the long ball, college coaches love big guards that can shoot. but she’s attacking better off the dribble to mix it up. Walton has always been a gamer as I recall catching her playing up a few years ago and observing her older sisters and implementing things from their games told me something. Her court vision and ballhandling are huge pluses, especially since she sees the floor through a microscope and threads the needle nicely. She also has the HEZ and change of pace down, COP means call the law yet she also creates contact off the dribble

Roberts is turning into a “nightmare to defend” primarily because of her ability to score both from mid to long-range as well as attacking off the dribble. Her range has gotten deeper yet she patiently sets the defender up and takes “good shots” aka as playing within herself however her court vision and ball handling have also gotten better under pressure and on the flip, she’s applying more heat defensively

Blanchard falls into that “long and athletic” group I love to profile because it is and always will be the base. Watching her attack the basket strongly from multiple angles was nice, especially when she showed body control on her finishes, after contact but she also did a good job rebounding on both ends of the court as well as defending
Moyer gave me plenty of progression at the Texas Invitational yet she just keeps adding more. She is one of those players that can fill up the stat sheet as well as get hers “in the flow” however she relishes being under pressure and wants the ball down the stretch, even more importantly she can deliver as her mid to long-range keeps getting better, as well as her scoring off the dribble
