Sandlin is a combo guard that has a great understanding of the game. On offense she can handle the ball in the open court with vision looking up the court. A shooter around the perimeter but showed a very nice mid range games as well. Showed a great understanding on press defense playing the second line of the zone press. Rotated in position causing several turnovers
Highlights
First time seeing Madi play and walked away impressed A player that did a little bit of everything on the court. Offensively she can shoot the outside shot but was also a force inside the paint as well. Great body control and lift on a very smooth turn around shot. The footwork in the paint area was very nice. A defensive stopper in the paint with her physical play and shot blocking ability. Impressive was her attitude as a teammate. Enjoyed watching the energy she brings to the game.
Highlights
Mariah is a combo guard that has a complete game. Nice shot from behind the 3 point knocking down several. A strong dribbler that can attack the rim with either hand and finish making her a tough match up for small opponent, Physical ball handler in transition that finished through the contact for And 1 baskets. At her height and quickness she defended 2-4 spots on the court. Grabbed several rebounds needing no outlet as she showed great handles and vision in the open court.
Highlights
Amira is an aggressive player that hustles in between the lines on both ends of the court. A fierce rebounder that has great hops. Good hands, strong body and nice footwork allowed to score around the paint against much taller players. A physical type player that can guard on the perimeter but strong enough to defend the paint vs a taller player Inside plays much larger than her size.
Highlights
A lighting quick guard that pushed the tempo up the floor with the pass. Showed range with deep 3 point shots. She has a great scoring abilities with the outside shot and the quick first step off the dribble. The quick k first step allowed her to blow by her defender several times. Great vision with ball reading the defense making several tough assists to her teammates On defense quick hands, low stance, ang quick feet made her a lockdown type defense on the ball
