Continue ReadingThe Campbell-signee simply outworked the competition, the first one down the floor every time in transition and the quickest to attack rebounds. Alexander runs the court like a freight train and is rewarded routinely for her hustle. She scored at the rim at will in Mt. Paran’s 59-52 win. The Eagles couldn’t keep Alexander off the glass in the halfcourt and saw her blow by them in transition when filling the lanes. Ciara dumped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Her strength as a finisher is impressive.
Highlights
Fields dominated defensively and showcased a soft touch at the foul line, going 10-15 to finish with 16 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. Jessica’s length and lateral quickness thwarted multiple chances inside for Josey.
Remember the name Kerri Fluellen Kerri Fluellen 5’6″ | PG Josey | 2026 State GA . She caught my eye last year in the Final 4, played well last week at Georgia College and erupted on the big stage in Macon, scoring 11 of her team-high 20 points in the first quarter against Mt. Paran. Fluellen passes the eye-test. She’s an agile playmaker with a knack for getting to her spots. She went 4-4 from deep, draining pull-ups. Kerri is adept at getting into the paint and floating in 10-footers. Fluellen can flat out play. She should be on D-I and D-II radars.
Henderson turned corners and get to the rack against the Eagles. She’s a physical driver that uses her body well in traffic. Henderson dumped in 17 points on 5-13 shooting. KeAsia’s slick handle allows her to penetrate consistently.
The sophomore was tremendous in a loss to Maynard Jackson, carrying Midtown with 23 points on 7-11 shooting, 4-5 from deep. Devin shoots the ball very well both off the catch and off the dribble. Bockman weaved her way through the Jaguar press on multiple occasions. She implemented her stop-and-pop game from 15-feet. Devin’s performance solidified her as one of the best 2026 guards Georgia has to offer.
Highlights
Cupcake had a sweet tooth on Thursday, racking up 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals to bring Maynard Jackson their first title. The high-energy swingman was all over the floor as she always is, crashing in for steals and rebounds. Gresham’s 15-foot jumper is an underrated attribute of her game. JUCO programs and four-year schools were in to watch her.
