Royal Oak continued their magical post season run with a 5 point victory against Grosse Pointe North. Freytag has been at her best late season and in the playoffs. She tied a school record for most triples in a season and had 24 points in what has probably become the best season in Royal Oak history.
This is a really talented Dakota team and Foster has the ball in her hands a ton. She’s an elite ball handler and decision maker. Dakota defeated Chippewa Valley by a score of 57-48 and Foster was doing her thing. She got the job done on both ends of the floor scoring 13 points and dishing out 7 assists, while adding 4 steals on the other end. Public service announcement: Programs at the next level would be well advised to take a long hard look at her and her game.

Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard made a very loud statement with a 70-28 win against Westfield Prep. Miller was so efficient with the ball against a high energy defense. She’s been one of the most efficient shooters and scorers in the state this season and that continued last night as she scored a game high 22 points in the win.

Depagter and her Byron Center team squared off against some elite Lowell guards last night. Depagter did more than hold her own. She was the sparkplug in an impressive 55-36 Byron Center win. Depagter went off and had a career scoring night, torching the nets for 24 total points.

In order to have deep playoff runs, players need to step up and have big games. Bachelder did just that last night for Morenci. They had a huge 40-16 win against Petersburg-Summerfield and Bachelder was key in the win. She finished the game with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
