Continue Readingin this article we look at the guards who made the biggest jump from one ranking year to the next. These guys were special in many ways some on the defense I’m on the offense so scoring, but definitely each of them made the vast improvements between the freshman and sophomore season.
Morgan Cremen raised her le vel of play from one season to the next and is one of the biggest stock risers inj the 2026 class. The young had a solid year and showed a skillset that was very impressive. Cremen can do it all on the court and her greatest asset may be her confidence, but it doesn’t stop there. She is a pure point guard who looks to get her teammates involved. She is very good and putting pressure on th defense and drawing the double team and passing to an open shooter. Cremen is a very athletic guard with sneaky fast speed, an ability to shoot the ball off of the dribble or catch. She can shoot the short shot and she can also pullup and shoot the long range jumper when she is asked to score or needs to score. Defensively, her on-ball pressure is very good. She is fast and able to stay in front of guards. She also does a good job of stealing th ball and stealiong paases. If the ball is handled loosley, Cremen is opportunistic and will secure the steal. She has some of the quickest and strongest hands I’ve seen in the 2026 class.
