In this article, we look at some of the Forwards who were the highest Stock Risers in 2024 class. These players balled out in their final high school season, playing well enough to increase their position in the final 2024 rankings.
Clare Coyle Clare Coyle 6'1" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL balled out the entire year and her consistent and inspiring play made the move up an easy one. Once again, Coyle led her team to the State Championship game only to come up short. Her performance in the State Championship game was MVP worthy. She was arguably the best player on the floor and Lake Highland prep had some ballers out there. Throughout the entire season, Coyle’s tenacity, her poetic footwork, her rebounding on both ends of the court, and her ability to put the ball in the rim are the reasons that she was named Reps on Rep’s player of the year. There is likely more hardware to come.
Nia Blocton Nia Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2024 State FL played well all season long. Nia started her upward trend in the summer, where she demonstrated the ability to take over a game on the defensive or offensive ends of the court. She was a force on the boards, in the paint, and even in the midrange are of the floor. She was a standout in all these areas, but her bread and butter was on the defensive end. She showed great timing on blocked shots and she often demoralized teams with her elite defense. Blocton has speed and quick feet which allowed her to get steals. Blocton also showed heart and grit and her knees and elbows knew the court on a first name basis. In a recent All Star game, Blocton spent a majority of the game diving for loose balls. It’s that sacrifice and effort that makes her one of the top players in the 2024 class and one of the top movers in the 2024 rankings.
Kali Harris Kali Harris 5'9" | SF Pedro Menendez | 2024 State FL made great strides this year as a player. Her athleticism jumps off the charts and her abilities on the court made her special this past season. Harris ran the floor well and was a slasher on the offensive side of the ball. Her ability to play in transition is what makes her special. She can finish with creativity and through contact . Harris was named MVP of the recent Reps on Reps Senior All Star Game. All of her skills were on display.
Sydney Roundtree Sydney Roundtree 6'0" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL is another player on the move. Roundteee played well this year and especially doing all of the little things to win games. Roundtree primarily was a defensive stopper and she had the ability to defend All 5 positions on the floor. She also handled the ball well and a lot of plays were run through Roundtree. Her passing ability and her ability to handle the ball under pressure made her a special player.
Anjela Tumsifu Anjela Tumsifu C North Florida Educational Institute | 2024 State FL what’s another player who made significant movement in the rankings. The 6’4 power forward-center really played well this year and showcase a lot of great defensive skills: she can block shots, set up a wall in the middle of the paint, and send shots the other way. Tumsifu also played well on the offensive end and was able to use her height and get some easy buckets.
