<p>Mia Woolfork got the game started like she ended the last contest with a spin move in the paint for two after a Dale miss [player_tooltip player_id='421802' first='Leah' last='Hampton'] hit a three from the corner to jump out to a lead. Zoe Foster hit a much needed jump shot for Dale's first score of the game. But Leah was not done off an offensive rebound; she hit another corner three point basket to extend the lead to 11-2. After two [player_tooltip player_id='731295' first='Alexandria' last='Broadus'] free throws [player_tooltip player_id='300374' first='Nylah' last='Wilson'] got a runner in the lane. After Lancers turnover [player_tooltip player_id='443349' first='Timani' last='Harris'] had a great crossover three point shot to cut the lead to 11-9 and triggered a timeout by Manchester. Out of the time out Mia Woolfork got a n offensive rebound putback for two. Then [player_tooltip player_id='376328' first='Syvannah' last='Dawson'] had a great drive and pass to [player_tooltip player_id='731295' first='Alexandria' last='Broadus'] for a layup. But the biggest play of the first quarter was a three point shot at the buzzer from the volleyball line by Fiinley Weaver to give Manchester a 17-12 lead after one!</p>

<p>Dale got the 2nd quarter started with an offensive rebound put back by [player_tooltip player_id='376328' first='Syvannah' last='Dawson'] but that was quickly answered by a corner three point shot by [player_tooltip player_id='376327' first='Finley' last='Weaver'] that Triggered a dale timeout after a the timeout an a empty possession that led to a missed shot [player_tooltip player_id='443620' first='Madison' last='Smith'] leaked out for a wide open layup for two points. That was followed by a Mia Woolfork free throw jumper and a [player_tooltip player_id='421802' first='Leah' last='Hampton'] layup. Thomas Dale was able to get a jumper from Aniyah Foster to end the quarter down 28-16 where Dale only scored 4 points total!</p>

<p>Dale struck first in the 3rd quarter with a jumper from Zoe Foster but two possessions later off of a bad switch [player_tooltip player_id='376327' first='Finley' last='Weaver'] hit a big three point shot for Manchester. Dale started a mini run, [player_tooltip player_id='300374' first='Nylah' last='Wilson'] tried to get things going with a pull up jumpshot and [player_tooltip player_id='376328' first='Syvannah' last='Dawson'] had a great assist to [player_tooltip player_id='731295' first='Alexandria' last='Broadus'] for two which followed a Zoe Foster put back to cut the lead to 31 to 27! [player_tooltip player_id='421802' first='Leah' last='Hampton'] answered the run with back to back three point baskets and finished shooting 4-6 behind the three point arc! Syvannah Daswon answered with a much needed three point shot to stop the bleeding which was followed by an defensive rebound by Dawson and she went coast to coast for a layup. But again the lancer was able to stop the Dale runs when Mia Woolfork got a and one basket to end the third quarter which Manchester was up 40-35!</p>

<p>The fourth quarter was a defensive struggle [player_tooltip player_id='731295' first='Alexandria' last='Broadus'] got things started with a layup. Manchester had a little trouble with the press but Madsion Smith had a key play where she found [player_tooltip player_id='254975' first='Mia' last='Woolfolk'] in the middle of the lane to break the press break for two. That was followed by the biggest basket of the game by [player_tooltip player_id='304787' first='Rayne' last='Wright'] where she faked it to the corner and got a two point shot. Dale only scored 7 points in the quarter Zoe Foster was able to get an offensive rebound put back and [player_tooltip player_id='300374' first='Nylah' last='Wilson'] got a steal on the fast break for two but at the end of the game down 6 points in the last 2 minutes Dale turned that ball over 3 times and fell short 51-42!</p>
