I’ve covered more than thousands of players and just recently published my 1400th Prep Girls Hoops article. I appreciate all you wonderful readers more than words can express. In honor of that number of articles, I’m going to give you 5 2025’s that are must see this grassroots season.
Bryant is a true student of the game playing for 1Nation. She’s a national recruiting target and one of the best lead guards you’ll find in the midwest. Bryant is as shifty as they come featuring elite handles and the ability to start and stop and change direction with the ball at the drop of a dime. Bryant can get to the paint and make plays for herself and her teammates. She has the look of a D1 high major guard.

Conzelmann has seen a couple recent offers, including the likes of Spring Arbor and Northwood. There’s a reason why. The Mystics Select 40 star is a true 2 way player that plays passing lanes and can create havoc on the defensive end. Offensively, she’s long and athletic and can create opportunities. Conzelmann is also a terrific shooter with definite 3 point range.

Brumfield is a player that I’m VERY excited about. She’s playing with the Michigan Premier 2025 P24 team. I thought that she was tremendous this past high school season and I think she’s must see this spring and summer. Brumfield is the kind of player that leaves it all on the line and wins hustle points for her team. She plays with a controlled athleticism that allows her to be a factor in the half court as well as the open floor.
Geurink is playing with MBA and she has proven to be a player to watch. Geurink has the ability to score with her back to the basket as well as facing the rim. She looks very comfortable working left to right in both situations. Geurink is crafty with the ball once she gets it and has tremendous body control when she makes a move to the rim. She can be a volume scorer without being ball heavy.
Asberry is a player that coaches will want to see. The Always 100 Michigan guard is a playmaker through and through. She’s dangerous with the ball and she has the dribble drive combos to prove it. Asberry can shake her defender and make plays with the ball. She’s dangerous in transition with her straight line speed with the ball in her hands.
