Colleena created scoring opportunities for teammates by collapsing the defense with her dribble and she knocked down clutch shots to keep Wayne Memorial within striking distance. She drained a smooth step-back three and created space with her shifty dribbles to score a tough layup to end the 2nd quarter. Colleena dropped in a floater and buried a mid-range pullup jumper. She dished seven assists to teammates and led the Zebras with 15 points.

Colleena is our top-ranked point guard in the state, a Miss Basketball Finalist, and she’s played like it again for Wayne Memorial this season. The Zebras finished the season 16-6 and split wins with Belleville to tie for the KLAA East best record at 13-1. She led Wayne Memorial to another statement win against Howell and Goodrich as they charge into the postseason. Colleena contributes in every area with 18.1 points (44% FG, 36% 3PT, 71% FT), 8.1 assists, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game–passing 1,000 career points. She is highly decorated with four First Team KLAA All-Conference selections, two BCAM All-State selections, and three First Team All Detroit West selections. Her crafty handles, passionate presence, pressure defense, shifty downhill drives, and lethal pull-up shooting have been exciting to watch at the high school level; the next chapter of her basketball career will be written at Drexel.

has had an electric high school career at Wayne Memorial and looks ready to end her career with an exclamation point. Colleena earned All-Conference Select Honors in 2023 and Second Team All-State, averaging 17.1 pts, 8.2 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game. Colleena is the #1 ranked point guard in her class, giving the Zebras the advantage as a court general, scorer, defender, and leader on the floor. I expect Colleena to have a dominant senior season and earn a First Team All-State selection in 2024.

This one seems pretty obvious. Bryant has always shown that rare takeover ability, where she can grab a game by the horns and win it. This summer, we saw her ability to create for her teammates and get the ball to the hot hand.

Bryant is a good old fashioned baller with a competitive streak that can’t be topped. She’d be great to watch at The Expo as she seems to take any challenge and opportunity to prove that she’s the best. There isn’t a more explosive player off the bounce in the state.

Bryant is seeing her name on our boards a ton lately. But when you earn it, you earn it. She’s a national recruiting target for a reason. Bryant is as fast paced and dynamic as they come. She can push the pace with her handles and is an even better passer than she was a year ago.

After watching Bryant play this weekend 1 thing was perfectly clear. She’s one of the best players in the state regardless of class. Bryant is strong and physical and easily played through and off contact. She consistently got behind the defense for high percentage scoring opportunities. Bryant showed quick hands on D that created chaos for opposing offenses.

Colleena proved why she is the best point guard in Michigan’s 2025 class with Wayne Memorial today at the SS16 Shootout. She consistently beat defenders off the drive with a combination of attack dribbles. Colleena also dished out assists with long passes in transition and on her drives to the basket. She finished contested layups, hit jumpers off the bounce, and made a sweet left-handed jump pass over a defender for an assist on her drive. Colleena worked hard defensively to apply pressure and create turnovers; she is a complete prospect.
