This summary is about the Top Juniors I had the privilege to watch play this past school season;

[player_tooltip player_id='465492' first='Samyah' last='Jordan']-5'7" PG, Conway H.S. 2025-Samyah, pictured above, is probably one of the top 5 players in the state. She'll again lead the Lady Cats back to another 6A state tournament appearance her senior year. Samyah is very quick and very strong. Her basketball IQ is top notch and she can score at anytime from anywhere. Couple her leadership and skills with the a talented Conway H.S. squad and they could win it all in 2024/25.

[player_tooltip player_id='465493' first='Sidni' last='Middleton']-5'9" SG, Vilonia H.S. 2025-Sidni is the go-to-player on a very good Vilonia team. The ball is in her hands at crunch time. She is an excellent defender and is deceivingly quick. She gets to the foul line often and sees the court as well as anyone. Look for her to again lead the Lady Eagles to another deep state tournament run and a bid for a 5A State Championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='465534' first='Zoey' last='Bershers']-6'3" F, Farmington H.S. 2025-Zoey is a rebounding machine. Her excellent footwork in the paint allows her to get to the glass and rack-up boards. She's a very affective shooter and can hit the 3-ball when the opportunity arises. She will be one of the floor leaders for the Lady Cardinals defense of their 4A State Title.

[player_tooltip player_id='465503' first='Alexis' last='Cox']-5'9" SG, Conway H.S. 2025-Alexis got my attention when I watched her attacks the glass. This young lady is an athlete! She is as strong as anyone on the court no matter their size. Alexis likes to get out on the break, but she's most dangerous rebounding, feeding the outlet, then breaking to the basket for the strong finish on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='870000' first='Whitney' last='Brown']-5'5" PG, Fayetteville H.S. 2025-One of the quickest players I've seen this year! Whitney ran the offense for the Lady Bulldogs and will continue that role next season. She can penetrate the lane or step back and hit the trey. She is very difficult to guard and blows by her opponents like their standing still.

[player_tooltip player_id='465496' first='Kori' last='Sanders']-5'4" PG, Lamar H.S. 2025-Kori had a strong junior year after suffering an injury in her sophomore campaign. She's the heart and sole of the Lady Warriors. She's played the point since her freshman year. Kori has a knack of getting open. She's as quick as a cat and can accelerate by her opponent and attack the basket. Look for her to lead the Lady Warriors to another deep post season run.

[player_tooltip player_id='465514' first='Jakyra' last='Jackson']-5'7" SG, West Helena H.S.-Jakyra is a natural athlete. She has a nose for the basket and attacks it full force. She's frequently dependent on her strong side but her athleticism allows it. She's as quick as anyone on the floor and the ball is in her hands at crunch time. Jakyra can hit the 3 ball but would rather drive the lane and create contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='435887' first='Macy' last='Willis']-SG-5'6" SG, Valley Springs H.S.-Macy has a very quick and strong first step to the basket. And she attacks the rim at 100%. Give her an opening and she'll turn it into a basket, or foul shots, or both! Her defensive footwork is balanced and she often guards the opponents best player. She is a confident competitor and is as solid a performer as I've seen. I enjoy watching her play.

All of these young ladies will once again lead their schools to a successful basketball season in 2024/25.
