Mitchell has continued to elevate her game every season since I first caught her in middle school yet she simply elevated her game winning accolades galore transferring to a new school and becoming the first person there to ever make the All-Region team, yes I kept up with her via Twitter @Madyson_2026 because like the rapper and the candy, I have always enjoyed MM. She’s powerful off the dribble, finishes strongly after contact and can drop the jumper yet her passion shows on both ends of the floor, especially on defense plus she has very good upside
Highlights
Cooks understands how to control the tempo, how to run a squad and how to get everyone involved yet being a “long and athletic” guard with a very nice first she also understand show to take games over, either by attacking thew basket, which she can do using either hand, or showing the jumper. Her finishes after contact are nice, so is her court vision but she applies “on the ball” pressure and plays the passing lane
Peck left me speechless at The Prime Event and the first thing I marked by her name was ADD. Sometimes, things just fall into my lap and observing her standing above “the magic umber” as well as being “long and athletic” the eye test was immediately passed. She showed me the “hands and footwork” to score in the paint, she scored on putbacks, yes she rebounded on both ends, hold that though, she went AFTA everything off the rim, you can’t teach DESIRE. Her defense was solid and she played the passing lane. Very good upside
Jackson-Willis sold me before high school after catching her with her club team. Then I had an even better look in high school and now that she’s moved to a different club team, she’s being able to face the basket more and show she can score both off the dribble as well as from outside. She’s strong and can be overpowering, contact is irrelevant yet her rebounding and handling the ball afterward to score or dish is a plus. Well, she rebounds on both ends, scores on putbacks and plays solid defense
Highlights
Blount has had her name in my ear for a couple of seasons after her club coach used the exact words “Simmie, I have a future Top 100 you have to see” and guess what, she’s here. I immediately liked her being a “long and athletic” guard that played both ends of the court well yet that well ain’t about to run dry because not only can she drop the jumper, she simply elevates above outstretched hand to release and drop, her high flying also defies gravity as her acrobatic finishes get my adrenaline going. Solid defender and playing the passing lane will have her JEFFERSONIZED “Movin On Up”
