Miss Do Everything for Team Trae Young Thompson, every team could use a versatile energy piece like Eischen. She’s a tough wing, who shined with the way she crashed the offensive glass and winning other 50-50 loose balls. The type of plays she make might not be loud in the box score, but they’re momentum shifters and energy givers that have a clear impact on success. Along with the putbacks, she still pops up on the offensive end with the occasional three pointer and a general efficient style of playing.
Highlights
A “lightning in a bottle” guard, Edwards is disruptive on the defensive end and a handful on offense. With outstanding body control, great elevation and good feel for angles, Edwards finishes like a taller guard complete with a very soft touch around the basket. Her non-stop motion continues even off the ball on offense, as she knows how to redirect to open pockets from three. On the defensive end, she seemingly has a nose for weakness. With the ability to pick pocket sloppy handles or teleport and steal bad passes. Her loud production spoke volumes at Solid Rock on Saturday.

Selmon and her Dynasty squad picked up a couple big victories today. During the first half of one of their romps featured the sharpshooting guard hitting from three. Again. And again. Once her feet was set, she looked automatic from deep for her talented team. On a talented team, the gravity she creates from the perimeter appears to be immense.

Heron drives and attack with an advance feel for a youngster. This was evident in the passing reads she makes. Along with the ball fakes and footwork to avoid defenders. And the physicality she plays when there is a need to finish through contact. Her ability to get paint touches and draw fouls was a big boost in her Bluejays’ tough victory this early afternoon. The freshman’s tenacity included an instance of her making a nice bounce pass to a teammate, then being the one to crash the glass and get the putback. A great example of acting instead of reacting.
Highlights
A nice coast to coast take, that saw Howell navigate by a couple of defenders was an good example of her skill as a forward who has moments of putting it on the floor. But her game is more than that, as she has a “country strong” type vibe to how she plays. She crashes into opponents while fighting for rebounds, playing to her strength with the right type of attitude. It’s important to get live viewings of prospects like Howell, because the skill and good athleticism was apparent on “tape”. But the toughness and mentality become more apparent and loud when watching how she goes about handling her business.
Britt Reynolds
Britt Reynolds
The youngster was a sharpshooter, who wasn’t impacted by the early morning start time. In this contest, Reynolds connected on at least four three points. Including a pair in the second half that really helped Triumph not only maintain but also extend their advantage in what would be a 18 point victory. With a pure shooting form, Reynolds is set up to have a good high school career.
