Freshman Standouts at Demetrius Richardson Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Demetrius Richardson Showcase featured some tough players in the building and the Freshman in the building came to play. Just past their Freshman season, a lot of these players played well in the showcase and are primed for a standout summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='515051' first='Ekklesia' last='Anderson'] was nice at the showcase. She showed the ability to get to the rim with a nice reverse layup. Anderson has good handles and has a very quick first step.  Anderson puts pressure on a defense and is always looking to attack. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='874206' first='Bianca' last='Hall']  drew a lot of attention with her play at the Showcase. Hall has the ability to handle the ball, plays good defense, secures steals, and knows how to push the ball up the court and get it to the open teammate.  She also had a nice three point shot. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='515069' first='Erynn' last='Moffett'] was impressive with her speed and was all over the court.  Moffett is a defensive stopper, but she can also get to the rim and score.  Moffett can rebound,  read the defense,  and dish the ball.  She is one of the top 2027s in the State on the defensive end as well as on the offensive end. Moffett is a high IQ player who was a standout this season as a Freshman. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='873419' first='Gianna' last='Conklin-Jones'] was impressive during the showcase.&nbsp; Conklin-Jones can get to the rim and she is also a pest with her on the ball defense &nbsp;&nbsp;<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='873418' first='Emry' last='Warren']&nbsp;played well and showed she could mix it up on the inside, but her main tool in the bag was her outside shooting,&nbsp; including a three pointer from the corner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='873423' first='Mya' last='Drake'] was a standout at the Showcase and showed some amazing speed and quickness on th court. Drake pushed the ball in transition and she was one of the toughest defenders at rthe showcase. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248388' first='Jordyn' last='Baker'] was a strong presence at the showcase. Baker has a versatile game. She can score on the inside, and she can get out in transition and score on the wing. Baker has the size to mix it up on the defensive end. Jordyn is a fundamental solid player who goes about her business and gets the job done. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
