In this article, we take a look at the forwards who were present at the Inside Exposure Florida Brawl. Their play throughout the tournament wasn't about overall dominance—and it wasn't always about perfection either. It was about showing up, competing, and making an impact in different ways. This group revealed strengths, showed a few areas for growth, but still found ways to be effective. Some controlled the glass and rebounded at a high level. Others were strong interior scorers, finishing efficiently in the paint. A few showed enough versatility to step out and knock down perimeter shots from the forward position, while others were defensive stoppers who clogged up the middle and kept drivers at bay- blocking shots and challenging players who drove to the rim.

NiKayla Alford was a physically imposing forward who played a strong all-around game throughout the tournament. She was effective scoring on the inside and showed the ability to defend well in the paint. What stood out was her physicality, athleticism, and ability to get up and down the court. Alford also showed a lot of defensive versatility with her ability to cover opponents on the perimeter and then come inside and mix it up with the bigs. With her size, strength, and mobility, she could have a big summer

[player_tooltip player_id='843397' first='Karli' last='Torres'] was one of the most impressive true power forwards in the building. She brought an explosive presence, especially on the glass, where she attacked rebounds with purpose and tracked the ball at a high level. Offensively, she was highly effective in the paint, finishing strong and making scoring look almost automatic when she got touches down low. Her ability to establish position and produce in the blocks stood out, and defensively, she added value with her physicality and presence. At her best, she showed flashes of being a dominant interior force.

[player_tooltip player_id='873449' first='Jahlaya' last='Wilson'] made her mark primarily on the defensive end, where she was one of the more impactful interior defenders in the building. She protected the paint well, altered shots, and showed the ability to block attempts from both guards and post players. Her timing and presence in the middle made it difficult for opponents to enter the lane and feel comfortable. Offensively, her game is still developing, but the upside is there. She runs the floor, competes, and continues to show growth. Wilson can score consistently when right at the rim. She rebounds well, and she could be a force in that category when it's all said and done.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318522' first='Annalyse' last='Gray'] (cover) put together a strong performance, showcasing her ability to get to the rim and finish with confidence. Gray displayed versatility, scoring both on the perimeter and inside. Her ability to handle the ball, get downhill, and score the basket was impressive. She was creative and productive when attacking downhill- she consistently scored and drew fouls. Gray proved she can impact the game in multiple ways and be a reliable scorer. She also proved to be one of the toughest Sophomores in the building.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246251' first='Tiarra' last='Redding'] brings an exciting blend of explosiveness and athleticism that stands out as you see her. She has good length, a motor that won't quit, and a determination to be good. The next step in her development will be continuing to let the game slow down and come to her. She shows the ability to make dynamic plays, and with a more controlled pace, those moments can turn into even more efficient scoring. Redding has the tools to finish consistently. Her confidence and talent make a strong foundation, and as her game continues to grow, she will emerge as one of the top forwards in the 2028 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850025' first='Zaniah' last='Adams'] put together an impressive showing, especially for a sophomore. She defended well on the perimeter, played with physicality inside, and showed promise on the offensive end of the floor. Adams connected on several mid-range shots and looked comfortable operating within the flow of the offense. One of the more notable parts of her game was her effectiveness in the pick-and-roll, where she set solid screens, displayed soft hands, and finished efficiently at the rim. She also ran the floor well in transition and showed the ability to score through contact, giving her a strong all-around presence on both ends of the floor.
