Hansen has been playing with a lot of energy this spring and she has proven to have a motor that can be on at all times. She plays hard and she is able to impact the game with her stout defense and although being undersized in the paint she holds her ground in the post and she can also switch on players in the perimeter. She is physical out there as well. Hansen has been improving her touch around the rim and her range keeps getting better and better. She is a stock riser for sure.
Shimada is a gem that does a lot on the floor. She takes care of the ball and she is also able to handle that pressure. With her size she causes mismatch issues because often times taller players that are not as mobile have to defend her. She makes great reards and she has yet to hit her ceiling. Look for her to continue to rise on the grassroots seen.
Jenks is quick and she has a motor. She can play with a steady pace but also switch gears on attacks or when she is setting her plays up. She has been handling pressure with her head up and finding open players. Alog with her vision and sharp passing she has been scoring at the rim and she does have a sweet lefty jumper.
Brooklyn has been playing well and she has sharp easy quick moves as she keeps it simple but she does get some separation from her defender to get her shots off and she also gets enough space to see the floor and make sharp passes. She will be among some of the older players on a very young high school team that will contribute.
Highlights
Casperson has a lot of upside. She can kind of play everywhere regardless of her size. She is a player that does not complain about her position she is just out there doing it all because she can. She has been shooting the ball well this grassroots season and she does have a quick twitch forst step that gets her open. On the boards she is all over the place and finds ways to impact the game on defense and offense when she is on the ball or off teh ball.
Highlights
Look for Mulitalo to make her way up the rankings. She actually has a smooth game. Even though she is listed as a center she can probably be more realistically a forward. She is a grab and go player as she can rebound and take off and start the break. Mulitalo has a decent handle ash she can weave her way up and down the floor. Her rip and go moves and smooth finishes really are impressive. Keep an eye on her as a stock riser.
Highlights
Brown has a really high IQ and she knows how to finish with contact. She is very good at spacing the floor but making herself available. She is a player that attacks the rim and does not settle for jumpers but she can shoot the ball. Small school talent but she is a stock riser that has next level play. Could be a D3/NWAC player for sure.
