Taylor Gifford Taylor Gifford 6'0" | PF Waukesha West | 2026 State WI
The Waukesha native is a talented shooter and can space the floor for her guards to attack a vacated paint or battle in the paint for offensive rebounds and score some points based on her effort. She took a massive step forward against older kids in the Classic Eight and proved she could play against some scholarship-level players in the high school season. In Manheim this weekend, Gifford will play in an up-tempo game where she can show her mobility and IQ. She understands how to help her team win games. She can hit shots from well beyond the three-point line and understands spacing and where she needs to be to give her teammates room to attack and find space to spot up for jumpers if her defender helps.
Claudia Asman Claudia Asman 6'0" | PF Kimberly | 2026 State WI
The 6-1 wing from Kimberly has a high ceiling. She can make perimeter shots and has the length to score over her left shoulder when smaller guards try to guard her on switches. She’s a mismatch whenever she steps on the floor. Her presence on the floor creates mismatches inherently, and she does an excellent job at using her length to put opposing teams in uncomfortable positions. Kids don’t like shooting over her, and she has quick enough feet to stay in front of opposing guards for a dribble or two. I’m curious to see what kind of looks she’ll garner this summer more than anyone.
Litza popped for Mac Irvin Fire last summer and earned a handful of scholarship offers heading into her sophomore season. She’s a player who makes the game look easy. Litza doesn’t always look like she’s moving that quickly, but everything she does has changes of pace, and defenders have a hard time keeping up with her. She can beat defenders off the dribble, find open pockets for a shot, and create shots for her teammates. Her game is easy to watch, and she’ll excel this weekend.
Kaia Waldrop Kaia Waldrop 6'0" | C Notre Dame | 2026 State WI
I challenge you to find any post players in Wisconsin who hit as hard as Waldrop. She’s never been afraid of contact and will use her power to set the tone for games. Her skill level has improved since I first saw her in her debut for Notre Dame, and she’s a kid you can throw the ball to on the block and expect her to finish around the basket. College coaches will love her athleticism and physicality, and interest in her will continue to grow this summer.
