A solid performer on the day, Nicholls showed a promising all-around game that included making the extra pass on the outside, knocking in 3s at a high rate, and converting some strong takes to the rim. She plays with good awareness, gets downhill from the perimeter well, and even showed a little handle in the open court. She has some good length and showed the potential to play inside and out, making her a name to watch in the 2027 class.
Highlights
Avery Hansen
Avery Hansen
Hansen’s a quick point guard who plays with great speed and is an impact player on both ends of the floor. She demonstrated tough on ball defense, good hustle, and was able to set a high pace while having the presence to slow it down if the transition offense got mucked up. She’s someone who can consistently get into the paint and make things happen, and showed some good vision working off the bounce.
Lisa Sonko
Lisa Sonko
She was working her tail off on the court, hustling for rebounds on both ends, showing how her length can impact the game on the glass, and it paid off with some nice second chance buckets. Sonko has good length inside and plays with the kind of activity that allows her to make an impact without having to get a ton of touches within the offense.
A quick guard for FOH Stuckey, Bieler has promising potential as a scorer from the perimeter who can work off the dribble to get closer in or spot up from behind the arc to knock down triples. She had some super effective moves off the bounce in the midrange to create space, and showed she has the handle to stop on a dime and smoothly get into her shot.
The guard showed good activity on the defensive end, hustling from spot to spot and even showing some grit to snag down defensive boards and hit the ground running. She made a few nice passes and one in particular with great touch over the defense in transition to hit her teammate in perfect stride for a layup. Labow showed some good court awareness and played with her head up on both ends.
