Countless travel teams came from across the country to compete April 19-21st in this NCAA Live-Period event. S-40, P-24, and independent circuit travel teams competed in front of 300+ D1, D2, and D3 college coaches across 28 courts at the Spooky Nook Sports Championship Mill facility. Here are some of the 2025 prospects who impressed me as I watched their games courtside over the weekend.
Avery Lay Avery Lay 6’1″ | SF Chelsea | 2025 State MI performed at a high level against elite competition for Michigan Drive Premier 2025-Willis at The Clash. The gym was packed full of college coaches and Avery took full advantage of the opportunity to showcase her skills. Avery stands out because of her athleticism, height, and strong physical frame. She played with a relentless motor on both ends, forcing turnovers with her ball pressure and securing offensive rebounds. Avery elevated strong off two feet against defenders, buried a wing 3, and made a ferocious two handed block in the paint. She attacked the paint and dished an accurate kick out for the assist on a drive. Avery proved she is one of Michigan’s best college prospects.
Lilly Williams Lilly Williams 6’5″ | PF HEA | 2026 State MI was an unstoppable force inside for Mystics 2025-Ruh at The Clash. Trailing in a game, Lilly helped lead her team back with two strong and one finishes through contact in the paint. She blocked shot attempts at the rim and finished effectively around the basket.
Olivia Flynn Olivia Flynn PG Harbor Springs | 2025 State MI caught fire for Mystics 2025-Ruh from beyond the arc at The Clash. Trailing by double digits, Olivia knocked down three triples with quick releases to spark her team offensively. Her sharpshooting and poise with the ball helped fuel an impressive comeback.
Ceniyah Williams Ceniyah Williams 5’11” | SF Detroit Mumford | 2025 State MI is a stout wing/forward who impressed me during the high school season for Mumford and built on that success for Mystics National 2025 at The Clash. She used her strength and height to dominate in the paint. Ceniyah elevated off two feet to finish through fouls at the rim effectively with both hands. She forced fouls by driving hard to the basket and knocked down her free throws. (MOI Computer Engineering)

Lily Smieska Lily Smieska SF Leslie | 2025 State MI made impact plays for Capitol City Express 2025 at The Clash. She drilled a wing 3, finished a drive to the rim, and swiped the ball away with her quick hands. Lily plays hard on both ends and is going to be a prospect I need to see again.
