Victory Region Kick Off: 16U Saturday Notebook

Throughout the day I saw several interesting prospects play their hearts out and leave it all on the hardwood. While this was happening I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Elite 2026</strong> <strong>(WI)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>"One of D.F. Elite 2026's Shining Stars today. Offensively, had two strong takes while walling up on defense against a much taller opponent. Someone that did not stop moving whenever she didn't touch the ball, making her a tough matchup against whoever was guarding her. Tall, athletic, great shooting stroke from deep, and usually in control of the dribble. Seems to like to play the perimeter more than anything else but she can drive through contact to get a bucket in the paint. Has impressive movement for someone that size. She seems always to be determined to get to the basket. Strong, fundamental, w/ a shifty handle. Really nice first few minutes in her first contest of the day. Seems like someone that plays with a chip on their shoulder. Understands her spacing, where to drive, and where her teammates are going to be once she does beat her original defender. Has the ability to space the floor and play from the perimeter or out of the mid-post. Is this teams physical presence in the middle of the lane when it boils down to it.
