Campbell does a little bit of everything, all quite well yet she falls into a number of categories because she has length and is athletic, she picks pockets defending using her quick hands and playing then passing lane yet her court vision afterward is nice or she just keeps it to score herself. She also attacks off the dribble, nice body control on her finishes after contact but her rebounding on both ends was nice as well as scoring around the basket, putbacks included
Johnson is a “long and athletic” guard, I love that profile but more importantly so do most “college coaches” and they offer next level opportunities but Johnson had so many stars and stripes by her name she could make a flag, yet I’m giving you a RED one to stop and watch out on what’s coming. She can play multiple positions and watching her rebound and go coast to coast to finish, strongly and acrobatically at times yet seeing her drop the turnaround jumper, oh yeah, she’s a lefty was sweet. Her pull-up jumper in the set and stop and pop in transition is effective, she has good timing to block shots and plays the passing lane

Heihn was playing up, well basically her team was and she’s showing signs of going Up ad AWAY whenever I drop the Watchlist for her 2029 class. On opening day, at the 8am game, she shot the lights on, power had knocked them off for some time yet her confidence showing the stop and pop from deep was having me hope they would go back out so the story would have been better yet her game kept getting better because she scored off the dribble and saw the floor. On day 2, she gave me all that more and her playing the passing lane was nice touch plus she’s also a “long and athletic” guard

Jada Weaver
Weaver is a “long and athletic” guard which is also the base and she is probably first player I have seen make All Tournament in 2 age divisions since I’ve been covering for PGH. Her “on the ball” defense immediately stood out as well as her court vision as she threaded the needle from 20 feet away. Her midrange was nice, so was her long range especially when she showed me she could “catch and shoot” it from deep
Edwards is also a “long and athletic” guard who gave me an eyeful a few weeks ago at the Lady’s First Invitational yet has both eyes wide open as she was still going hard on both ends. I love seeing players do thigs you can’t teach and DESIRE is and always will be one of them so the pressure she applies on defense at times is smothering as it helps to create turnovers. She also showed she could attack off the dribble with either hand while also hitting teammates in traffic as she sliced by defenders
