Now that the 2025 updated rankings are out, there are a few articles I'd like to write alongside it. Today, I'll have a stock-risers and new additions article with kids who fit those bills.

The Lancaster wing is someone I haven't seen in person, but her film jumps off the screen. She's a 6-0 wing who can attack off the dribble, knock down perimeter jumpers, and make plays for others if given the opportunity. She can make contested pull-up jumpers and has a strong base on her shot, so it looks effortless out of her hands. She has the tools to be a scholarship-level player, and I wouldn't be surprised if I feel I've undervalued her a year from now. Six-foot wings with the level of skill Morgan has are rare in Wisconsin, so if programs haven't begun kicking the tires on her, they will soon.

Players like Schauer are the ones coaches seem to like having the most. She isn't a super vocal kid on the floor in that she never gets too high or low on any possession. I feel you can trust her to make things happen with the ball in her hands, and she's as reliable as they come, even when she's playing on the brightest stages. Schauer is also a long athlete who can defend a couple of different positions on the perimeter while also digging in and rebounding when she's needed. Small schools should look at her if they have time to see her Wisconsin Elite group this summer.

There will always be value in kids who can space the floor like Subke at 5-10. The Neillsville wing has been a reliable shooter for the Warriors since she started getting significant minutes in 2022-23. Subke made her perimeter shots at an efficient clip while taking around four or five per game this season. Programs looking for a kid who can space the floor with their shooting and have the length to defend some taller wings might see something in the Neillsville product.

If I said there was a 5-10 guard that efficiently scored 20 points per game while shooting 40% from the three-point line, it'd get your attention. If you agree with that statement, you're at the point I was when I first learned about Stallings towards the end of the high school season. Stallings had five games at or over 30 points, with a 48-spot on the road against Clinton. That level of production is unheard of from players who don't have the level of notoriety of some of the other leading scorers in the state, and I don't believe she plays club basketball in the summer. Stallings may be the diamond in the rough in 2025.

Now that the 2025 updated rankings are out, there are a few articles I'd like to write alongside it. Today, I'll have a stock-risers and new additions article with kids who fit those bills.
