Continue ReadingI’m just basing this off our current PGH ranking, where we have her at #61. Aaliyah Story Aaliyah Story 6’3″ | SF David Crockett | 2026 State TN is MUCH better than than…and if you didn’t get a chance to see her for Davey Crocket (25-5) this year, then don’t miss your chance. Her stock has skyrocketed as a kid that can guard 2-5, protects the rim (2.5 blocks!), and gives you a nightly double double 16 points 10 rebounds. She’s turned herself into a total player.
Highlights
Turned herself into an undersized post (5’9) that plays like a 6 footer. Defensively…she’s a terror. She uses her athleticism to cover the entire floor and gave Nolensville 2.3 blocks and 1.3 steals. Offensively her game took a nice jump as she turned herself into a more refined scorer averaging 9 points on nice efficiency numbers.
Caroline Kieffaber Caroline Kieffaber 6’0″ | PF Father Ryan | 2026 State TN is a great example of simply putting in the work. She’s always had the physical tools, but was simply raw. This season for Father Ryan you watched her put together a back to the basketball game with both finesse and power. Started to become a nightly double double threat by the end of the season.
Another kid that is simply a great testament to what hard work and a great coach can do for a kid. Emma Cooper Emma Cooper 6’1″ | PF York Institute | 2026 State TN has all the physical tools to be really really good….but she needed to get stronger, tougher, and more confident. In helping York make yet another state tourney run, Cooper had some huge games along the way as her size is simply a matchup nightmare for anyone. As she continues to develop as a scorer, and game more confidence, the sky is the limit.
Put up some HUGE games this season scoring the basketball, as her offensive skill set really emerged. Learning to be an inside outside player. At her best when attacking the rim and using her changes of speed and direction to create space to use her touch around the rim. Naturally gifted at slicing through defenses. Began pulling the 3 ball this year, and while the efficiency numbers aren’t there yet, I like her touch. Also battles defensively and will give you 6 rebounds and a steal every game.
She doubled her scoring while playing basically the same number of minutes. Expect her improvement to continue!
