While this was happening, I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Below I highlight seven individuals and briefly describe what I saw out on the floor in their specific contests.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#1 – Jayse Smith Jayse Smith OK – 2027 – 5’4 – PG/SG – CBE Oklahoma 2025 (OK)
“A Guard with a nice skill-set for her age. Someone that seems to be playing up two grade level and holding her own at an efficient rate. A good communicator with a nice handle and fundamental shooting stroke. Can pull up from five feet behind the three point line and knock down deep buckets off of the catch. Works through contact and can finish over a stout defender if need be in the lane on any given possession.”
#44 – Sarah Heiskell Sarah Heiskell 6'2" | C Rejoice Christian | 2026 State OK – 2026 – 6’2 – C/PF – Team Trae Young 2026 Thompson (OK)
“She is a 6’2 Post with size, coordination, and quick feet. She is someone that can defend the post underneath the basket or she can move out to the perimeter and stay in front of her matchup. If she can continue to work on her game and become confident on the offensive end, she is going to be a problem for anyone that tries to defender her, especially in the half court as time goes on.”
#1 – Jordyn Rohlfsen – 2025 – 5’8 – SG – Omaha Supreme 2025 Thompson (NE)
“On and off from the offensive end this past few days but someone that has really locked in defensively this past few months. I’ve had the chance to see her multiple times now on a few different stages and every time, her defense is consistent to say the least. She sticks to her opponent at a high rate and she communicates well on switches with other guards in her program. Overall, someone to keep an eye out for out of Nebraska the rest of this AAU season at this point.”
#X – Arika Feldman Arika Feldman 6'1" | SF Little River | 2026 State KS – 2026 – 6’1 – SF – PGU Hoops 16U (KS)
“A left handed, 6’1 prospect with a smart head on her shoulders. She is a mismatch nightmare in the open court and she has a complete game overall on both sides it seems like. She is one of her teams main offensive options each contest, while also standing out as a rebounder and top-notch communicator. There is A LOT to like about this one. She seems to show out every weekend she has taken the floor this past few months and she is only going to build on that momentum moving forward at this rate.”
#42 – Hannah Lester Hannah Lester 5'3" | PG Olathe West | 2026 State KS – 2026 – 5’2 – PG – Kansas Elite 16U Ebert (KS)
“Lester is a 5’2 PG, that has a quick dribble and great situational awareness of the game. She can finish over bigger defenders with a floater once she gets into the teeth of the defense or she can pass it out to a teammate for an open look. Defensively she is a tyrant on the ball. Someone with quick hands, fast feet, and an act for getting tips/deflections. It speaks volumes when teams are doubling you once you get rid of the ball on the offensive end and that’s what we had today in her first contest of the day.”
#35 – Arkya Dixon – 2025 – 5’7 – PG/CG – J Squad 2025 (AR)
“A physically dominant guard. Someone that can run point, play the wing, or move into the post with her back the basket if need be. She has great feel for the basketball and she understands when to shoot compared to when she would drive and dish. On a team that has some solid athletic prospects, Dixon stands out as one of the most complete at this point in her career. Put into the right system and she could thrive sometime down the road.”
#32 – Avery Lawhorn Avery Lawhorn 5'8" | SG Chelsea | 2025 OK – 2025 – 5’8 – SG – Team Trae Young 2025 Thompson (OK)
“Lengthy and coordinated attacker on the offensive side of the basketball. Doesn’t seem to settle for forced or bad shots when it’s rotated to her. Instead she cuts to the hoop well off of the ball and is still productive even when she might not have the basketball in her possession. She is a good free throw shooter once fouled and she welcomes contact anytime she is attacking off of either the catch or dribble in the half-court.”
