Heiskell should be a priority target for regional coaches looking for a throwback style post player. The highlights reinforce two of her best aspects. She plays strong and decisive, on both ends of the court. Using her strength to carve out space for post ups. No wasted motion when keeping the ball high for quick and strong finishes. She carries that same mindset to the defensive end. By muscling up against fellow post players, while also rotating over to block/contest shots with great verticality. Expect her to be a game changer this winter for a Rejoice team that can make some noise in Class 3A.

A 2026 post that is starting to pick up interest on the recruiting trail. Sarah works hard on the block staying low holding off the defense while asking for the ball. Best two low post moves is a power dribble baseline that creates the space getting herself in between her and the basket. The other is a nice drop step for a shot over the shoulder. Good rebounder on the offense end that will get you those easy putbacks points. Good shot blocker with hands up being very discipline to not jump and foul the shooter. Showed a nice jumper from about 15 feet making her a good option in the high-low game. A very coachable player that when you visit with is an amazing polite young lady. A 2026 that should pick up some more offers over the next few weeks

The anchor for a team filled with guards. Heiskell made an impact via offensive rebounding and her teammates finding in her the paint or out to the free throw line for mid-range jumpers. An impressive aspect was how she closed the game strong, which was also the last of four games for the weekend. She kept popping up on the glass, kept contesting and blocking shots. Scored quickly and decisively before she could be swarmed by smaller foes. To see a post continue to compete even when her legs had to be getting tired is impressive. And a credit to how she will likely continue to work at the next level.

Old school back to the basket post player, who embraces her role on both ends of the court. Good athlete, who can cover ground to contest shots and grab rebounds. Can even move her feet to stay with driving guards, contesting without fouling. Offensively, she can use her strength to establish position down low. But she’s also quick enough to move her feet to stay with driving guards. Heiskell is fluid and quick when going up to score. Like the decisiveness on display with how she attacked quickly. Might be one of the more undervalued 2026 prospects, because there’s decisiveness spots for her at the next level.

Sarah has great size and height for those looking for a 4-5 position player. Nice footwork around the rim with several moves that make her an effective shooter in the paint. Good mid range shot fits perfect in a high low game. Checker out this weekend as she plays for CY-Fair Elite EYBL

Heiskell stands above “the magic number” which has and will be a major attraction for next-level coaches however she’s also skilled and her “hands and footwork” around the basket has me dropping the #THROWBACK hashtag because it helped her drop buckets. Her interior defense was solid and she rebounded on both ends of the court

Heiskell made progress throughout the day on Saturday. She can do some damage as a post up threat on offense. And has the willingness to fight for position on defense, leading to deflections on post entry passes. Along with the strength and frame to hold her own when posted up on. In the second contest on Saturday, she also got more aggressive with the way she grabbed contested rebounds. Continuing to play with an aggressive attitude could further unlock her game.
