Isabelle has good size, athleticism, and a very strong frame. She scored at will around the rim, made timely basket cuts, rebounded the ball well and did a great job running the floor making herself available to score in transition. I really liked her mobility and activity on both ends.
Highlights
Alyx is a finesse forward with good size and length that can score from the inside-out. She displayed incredible touch scoring at the rim and her jump shot was automatic within 10-15 feet. Alyx also made an effort to grab boards and drew contact in the paint that led to trips to the free throw line.
Shelby was a force in the interior and made her presence felt on offense and defense. She is a tough grit and grind type of post player with a work horse mentality that doesn’t mind doing the dirty work down low. She showed the ability to make the short jumper from 10 feet and scored well through contact inside.
Highlights
I was very impress with the way Sophie played this past weekend. She crashed the glass hard and had several put back buckets inside. She also did a good job getting up and down the floor on the fast break and used her size and strength to make it hard for the offensive players to gain position on the low block. But what I liked the most was her ability to make passes out of the post when her teammates cut to the basket.
Kaitlyn displayed excellent footwork on the low block and has a variety of post moves that she used to score inside. She is very skilled and can finish with either hand at the rim. I liked the way she used her length to alter and block shots on defense as well.
Highlights
Addison made an impact on both ends of the floor. She scored well around the rim and pulled down a ton of offensive rebounds that led to put back buckets and second chance scoring opportunities for her team. Addison also showed a nice shooting touch from the mid-range and her size and length made it hard for the opposing team to get anything inside.
