2027 Stock Risers: Part I

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2027 rankings were updated this week as these athletes have officially completed a full year of high school basketball.  There were some changes in the rankings as some of these athletes moved up raising their stock.  Let's take a look at the first round of stock risers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block competing for a state championship in her freshman season, and she was a major contributor to her team's success over the year.  She has been a known ball handler that can stop on a dime or speed up the tempo to get some points as she attacks the basket.  She also showed a lot of versatility this year on defense being able to guard a range of players on that end of the court showing strength on the block and quickness laterally going up against guards around the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block champion with Cannon, and she was a starter making contributions throughout her games.  She has a nice spring to her, and her shot is almost guaranteed to go through the hoop as she sets herself up around the perimeter to knock it down from deep.  She's quick flashing across the court finding the openings, and her passes to her teammates are quick and effective leading to some team points.</p> quality time with North Meck this season, and that is sure to continue.  She's moves so smoothly in everything she does, and she is constantly moving whether she is protecting the basket on defense or she is finding the opening on offense.  Her pull up jumper is difficult to defend, and she's aggressive getting to the basket scoring two at the rim.  She works well with whatever teammates are on the court with her, and she knows what role she needs to fill as she can play multiple positions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block put her head down and barrel through the paint getting to the rim and scoring off her fingertips.  Her change of direction moves are sure to break some ankles as she creates her own space for the shot or the open lane.  She has a nice shot from all over the court being able to pull up on a sudden stop or score off the pass from deep.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
