With the 2025 rankings out now, we take a look at some of th power forwards in the 2025 class. This position group consists of players who can get physical on the inside and bang, score, and rebound gth ball. This group also features some of the best multipositional players in the State. We highlight some of the power forwarss and gtheir unique skillset.

[player_tooltip player_id='346885' first='Mikayla' last='Paschal'] is one of the toughest and versatile players in the state. She is an elite scorer who can score the ball from anywhere on the court, including three-pointers, mid range shots, and taking the ball to the rack. Paschal puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team with her abilioty to get to the rim with power or just step back with the jumper. Last season Paschal eclipsed fhe 1000th poinjt total and was one of the top players in the Tampa Bay area No one works harder on their game than Paschal. She was impressive in the April and May travel periods and will look to resume that quality play in July.

[player_tooltip player_id='784236' first='Amaya' last='Richardson'] is a stock rising Forward who is just coming off the heels of a recent college offer. Richardson is really athletic and plays with a mixture of power and finesse. She can take it to the rim and score against physical play and she can finish with finesse, including a nice step back midrange and a smooth stroke from behind the arc. Richardson runs the floor well and is just an impressive basketball player. Last season she averaged over 8 points per contest and connected on 25 threes from the power forward position. Richardson is a player to watch this upcoming live period.

[player_tooltip player_id='430254' first='Joy' last='Wright'] is one of the top power forwards on the first coast. Wright plays with a lot of physicality and anchors the middle for San Jose Prep. She can play the 4 or 5, making her a very effective defensive player. Wright takes pride in consistently defending the best post player on the opposing team. She can also score on the inside usually on offensive put-backs . Wright runs the floor well from the four position and is very capable of scoring transition. She and her team made it to the district finals and thy are looking to make mark next high schjool season.

[player_tooltip player_id='370059' first='Nacoya' last='Blocton'] is still one of the most intriguing power forwards in the 2025 rankings. Not many power forwards can interchange from the point guard position to the power forard position. She plays with a mixture of the inside and outside game and is the epitome of a Stretch Four. Blocton handles the ball in the set offense, in transition, and in press break. Blocton is an elite offensive scorer and is very efficient from behind the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='746624' first='Leandrea' last='McCloud'] is a power forward - center who has the potential to set some records in the shot blocking category. She can do more than block shots, but she is capable of leading the state in that department. McCloud is long and can elevate. She was ranked in the top 10 in the 2025 class in blocks and third in the 2025 class in double doubles. She can impact the game in a lot of ways, scoring around the basket and she can knock down the midrange shot around the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='346854' first='Jolena' last='Gardner'] is another versatile forward who is a multi positional player on the offense and defensive end. Gardner posted 13 double doubles last season and averaged 11.5 points and 9 rebounds. She can pull-up from behind the arc and she can take it in and score on the inside with a nice fadeaway jumper on the baseline. Gardner is versatile enough to play the focal point of the offense and have the ofense flow through her. She can handle the ball in transition, and in the offensive set - she can pass it or score it.

[player_tooltip player_id='638578' first='Saige' last='McCloud'] is a power forward to be reckoned with and really represented herself well at the FABC Showcase. She showed versatility leading the break in transition and was physical in the paint scoring on the inside. MccCloud also can rebound the ball and mix it up on the inside against opposing power forwards and centers.

[player_tooltip player_id='638571' first='Aaliyah' last='Grant'] is another tough power forward in the 2025 rankings and was a recent stand out at the FABC Showcase. Grant also received an offer after her performance in Gainesville. Grant is a combination of physicality and athleticism and can score the ball. She utilizes good footwork, athleticism, and quickness to score the basketball. She does a good job of penetrating to the rim and scoring.
