Kadence plays the game so hard around the basket. She’s extremely effective when it comes to rebounding, getting putbacks and just grabbing loose balls around the cup. She really looked to use a head-fake move here today to get defenders to off their feet. Kadence absorbs contact and surely appreciates going to work inside on either block.
Highlights
Aveion is back for her Lady Vikings for one last season. Walker and the Lady Vikings have been to the Class 1A State Championship game but haven’t taken that first-place hardware home. Aveion was able to slash to the cup and drop some floaters along the way today.
Walker really can stuff a stat sheet every game night. She plays extremely active in the passing lanes picking up deflections along the way. Aveion enters her senior season with 1,343 career points for the Lady Vikings.
Highlights
Karlee came out today dropping jumpers from behind the three-point line. She’s a very good passer from high post and surely doesn’t mind mixing it up down low on the block. Karlee has a soft set of hands to catch anything thrown in her direction. She’s a very good teammate always staying in communication on and off the floor.
Phelps will surely like to play face-up to the basket moving forward into college.
Highlights
Booth has been the leader of this Lady Eagles squad over the years. Ja’sia scored several buckets in transition that turned into high percentage shots. She really uses the ball-screen well to race by defenders at times. Booth plays her best basketball going to the basket and looking to make plays along the way.
Highlights
Mickens can be the hidden piece of this Lady Falcons roster at times this season. Madison was able to connect on some jumpers from the perimeter here today. She was constantly around the ball to make a play on both ends of the court here today. Madison at times plays with a bit of a mean streak at times which is a good thing.
Highlights
Tatum is the point guard for the Lady War Eagles at Gray Collegiate. Diamond plays the game with a fearless mindset at times. The pass first point guard is the daughter of a college coach. She really does a nice job of jumping on the deck for a loose ball and just running the team from out top. Diamond will touch the paint and get the ball in the gaps. Don’t let the size scare you that’s for sure.
