I love how Isaac Hayes, bald black guy who made SHAFT, By The Time I Get to Phoenix song starts with “By the time I get to Phoenix, she’ll be rising” and the high risers they have have to complete alley-oops always get me going
Arguably one of the toughest players in the state who loves to take charges as well as scare me after being hit hard. She also has been dropping the jumper along with scoring off the dribble yet her court vision and playing under control has been huge
Highlights
Her initials also stand for “Keep Poppin” and watching her turn into one of the club season “top shooters” I have seen personally has been a treat. Yeah, she’s knocking the long ball down at nearly 40% yet her MIDRANGE as well as “stop and pop” in transition has been special
Highlights
Has been a joy to watch her develop from a back-to-the-basket player who rebounded and scored on putbacks into a player who can DOMINATE from both ends of the paint. Her 3 ball have been clicking, she soars over defenders off the dribble and her being the recipient of, here we go, alley-oops has been hearing “Oops Upside The Head
Has been a great pickup as she adds more muscle inside the paint and rebounds on both ends. Don’t get it twisted, she scores off the dribble and drops the midrange plus she punishes on defense
Highlights
Falls into that “plays taller than she is” category and yeah, she’s long and athletic, which is and always will be the base yet her ability score from, well everywhere has taken off from me catching her as a talented freshman with upside and speaking of UPSIDE, I’m hearing that song visualizing her finishing on the alley-oop
Cadence Williams
Cadence Williams
One of the most improved players from my initial sighting that transitioned from post to shooting guard and at 6’0 coupled with being “long and athletic” her picture-perfect pull-up raised plenty of attention
College-ready frame is what I first from this young lady who stands 5 inches over “the magic number” yet her “putting in the work” has her “college-ready game” ready for The Last Run. She’s powerful, yet fluid on the inside, and watching her not only rebound on both ends but run the floor on both ends has been special. She’s also scoring with players hanging on her
How about me calling her “The Glue” because she has worked hard to elevate her game and fit in wherever needed. Down the stretch, she can deliver from midrange as well as off the dribble yet also during the stretch, her defensive stops, big rebounds and even playing the passing lane have come up huge
Zoey Miller
Zoey Miller
I remember her coming into a game and I yelled it’s “Miller Time” and parents were looking at me in disbelief yet after her back-to-back threes, one of balance, I said “Way to go Zoey Miller” and those same parents were saying “oh, it is Miller time”. She’s an athletic guard who applies heat on both ends, plays within herself, and gets hers “in the flow
Another young lady who showed plenty of potential heading into high school and kept elevating her game. She’s “strong and athletic” stands over “the magic number” and uses that old “hands and footwork” to score around the basket with either hand. she also can attack and score as well as face and score plus she rebounds on both ends
Dana Parker
Dana Parker
Parker the PUNISHER inside the paint has been a great pickup for the squad. She has good timing to block, alter and or deflect shots, she rebounds on both ends, scores around the basket and defends
Williams asked me what she needed to add and I told her “GO AFTA EVERYTHING” off the rim and she has been doing just that. She has also been playing with a little pain and I remember telling her “You need to take a break” and she responded, “NO, my team needs me”. Okay fast forward, better agility around the basket to score and she’s defending not only in the paint but outside of it

Briann Wartime
Briann Wartime
She’s heady and under control yet flourishes running a team as she can control the tempo, probably on that “By The Team I Get To Phoenix” song as well. Her court vision is solid in the set as well as in transition but she can drop the jumper as well as score off the dribble
Raylee Huse
Raylee Huse
Has been a thorn in the side of offensive players as she has forced them into turning the ball over numerous times. Yeah, her quick hands or making them pick up the dribble has been nice yet she sees the floor well and makes the right decisions and she also scores both off the dribble and from the outside
