I saw the Sandra Day O'Connor Lady Eagles Motivation Classic over the weekend. This event was a prelude for teams participating in Section 7 in the upcoming week.

Here I look at some of the standout players that I saw:

[player_tooltip player_id='603672' first='Audrey' last='Bhesania'] Sandra Day O'Connor (Featured Image)

Audrey continues to cement her place as a top-five 2026 prospect in the state. She played at a pace that allowed her to be aggressive offensively while feeding her teammates. She showed a nasty streak that shows she has the toughness to carry her team when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='598979' first='Aspen' last='McClees'] Gilbert

McClees showed growth in her offensive game. She has always been very efficient from mid-range in. During the event, she showed more confidence in her perimeter shot, which made her an even tougher matchup for the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='660218' first='Shanielle' last='Mallory'] Kellis

Mallory continuously applied pressure on defenses with her speed and quickness with the ball. She managed well when to push the tempo and when to pull it out and set up the offense. Her on-the-ball defense was very good, collecting plenty of steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='659934' first='Bella' last='Abt'] Prescott

Abt is an athletic forward who was all over the floor for the Lady Badgers. She played with a high motor that made her be disruptive on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. She is one of the better rebounders from her position in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='640876' first='Madison' last='Garner'] Basha

The recent transfer controlled the game's tempo in both the half-court set and the fast break. She was always looking to get open looks for her teammates. She flashed the ability to shoot the three when looking for her own shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='758872' first='Luz' last='Marian Santos Mas'] Kellis

Luz used her size and length to impact both ends of the floor. On defense she had active hands that caused opposing defenses problems. She showed the ability to get the rebound and initiate the fast break. She could also get into the lane and finish through contact very well.
