Section 7, the top scholastic exposure event in the county, took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on June 14 and 15. Over 1000 players and close to 100 teams were on display for college coaches of all levels. This event was an opportunity for prospects to catch the eyes of these coaches and raise the interest of them to colleges.

Here, I look at some of the top rebounders that I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='640378' first='Ava' last='Lewis'] Casteel

Lewis is a natural rebounder and gets excellent position often. She displayed a good second jump when going for rebounds. She had multiple double-digit rebound games throughout the week.

[player_tooltip player_id='624537' first='Grace' last='Beckler'] Basha

Grace has a motor that doesn't stop until she has secured the ball. Her motor, coupled with her length, made for a nightmare on the boards. She averaged a double-double during the event, including a nearly 20 rebound game.

[player_tooltip player_id='825620' first='Norah' last='Moo'] Pinnacle

Norah showed why she has been among the leading rebounders in the state the last few seasons. She has some of the best hands in the state, and when she gets her hand on the ball, it's usually hers. She is also very good at boxing out and getting good position to secure rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='602888' first='Jada' last='Wilson'] Valley Vista

Jada is an energy rebounder, which allowed her to get rebounds not only in her area but also in those that aren't. She rebounded much more than what you would think of someone her size would. She just has a nose for the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='837250' first='Addison' last='Wiemann'] Sunrise Mountain

Addison makes her presence felt in the paint when she gets rebounds. She doesn't shy away from physical contact when reeling in boards. Averaged well over ten rebounds per game during the event.
