Summer Team Camp Check-Ins: Cookeville Lady Cavs

She doesn't let her size impact her play on either end. Finishes around the rim and knocks down the three with open. She is one of the fastest on the track at CHS and brings that high intensity to the defensive end when she's in. Getting more and more confident in her shot and getting to the rim. Coming off the bench she hasn't looked like a freshmen. The long guard is really good at the top of a press and is knocking down shots when she's open. I'm really excited to watch her for the next four years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coach Gillies' remarks on her freshman class: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> Freshmen class is 10 deep with a lot of the middle school state champs from Prescott south middle school. And adding some athletes from Algood middle and Avery trace. It will be interesting to see if any more of them will earn varsity minutes as they are a very talented class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
