Sienna Cordis
Sienna Cordis
The younger sister of Shayla Cordis Shayla Cordis 5'8" | PG Timberline | 2026 State WA , Sienna might be flying under the radar but likely not for long. She has it all, she is quick enough to get into the lane and score and gets to the free throw line often. She has the shiftiness and handles it well. I may have been most impressed with the way she rebounds. She led the team with 7.7 a game but that doesn’t tell the whole story. She goes after the ball, she can jump, and she brings it in with authority. She is an athlete, just like her sister, she excels at turning teams over with ball pressure, maybe more so good instincts and athleticism. Her 11 points a game was 3rd on the team and all three leading scorers are back for at least two more years. About the only thing Sierra doesn’t do is shoot the three at a high level. Shayla improved on that in her sophomore season, and I imagine Sierra will do the same.
Keeping it right here with Timberline, she is the other standout player in the backcourt. She averaged 19 points per game last season. She is a tough player, not afraid to attack the basket like the Cordis sisters, she shoots lots of free throws. She also averaged over 5 steals per game. She showed some nice floaters and mid-range game. She is capable of beating you from three, that will get better. She plays with a toughness and isn’t lacking in the skill department. Look out for Timberline the next couple years. They will have one of the best trios in the backcourt of any team in 3A. Led by one of the top guards in the state, Shayla Cordis Shayla Cordis 5'8" | PG Timberline | 2026 State WA . The other two can ball as well.
Highlights
A class of 2027 player that may be under the radar after a solid season for Arlington. She was a consistent knock down three point shooter all season long. Some coming from well beyond the arc, she has the potential to be up there as one of the better shooters in the 2027 class. She saw meaningful minutes off the bench for a team full of guards. She wasn’t a ball dominant guard but she should have plenty of opportunity next season with the backcourt losing some key players. She is listed as 5’9 but with length. I saw some good instincts on defense with deflections and steals. As she gains confidence in a larger role, she is bound to become a much bigger offensive weapon. The deep threes are a great start, being a building block to opening the floor up, making a team a lot harder to guard.

I have written about her not long ago but the more you see, the more you like. She has a high ceiling as a player with a lot of length and skill. She is a good shooter with the potential to be a great one. She didn’t shoot it at a high percentage from three, but she did from the line last season. That will improve, she has shown that during the off-season. She has ability to score around the basket with either hand, and can get to the basket off the dribble. She is a player who could be put in the post and she’d be to score in various ways but she will be too valuable as an all level scorer and three point shooter. Having all those things in her arsenal, you can see the potential. She isn’t nearly done improving. She averaged 5.1 point and 4.7 rebounds last season. The potential is there for a big jump even on a team that had just one senior.
