Okay here's the deal, I'm basing this off of players who were on rosters so if I missed you and saw your team, the best thing to do is attend an event I'm covering. Here's the deal, if you are a COMPETITIVE YOUNGER PLAYERS, 2029-30, and can compete in these INDIVIDUAL SHOWCASES coming up, by all means, show up but contact me at simmie@girlzprepreport.com or 713-291-3232

My FAB 5 for 2029 from the Premier Super 64 are

Crenshaw gave me an eyeful fast and I hadn't seen her in a couple of seasons when she was also playing up and showing a lot of signs of what was coming. Guess what, those signs have blinking lights around them and her "catch and shoot", especially from deep, tells me a lot about what's coming. She also scored off the dribble and finished after the lick, body control was solid, so was her court vision, and she not only did a good job defensively but also played the passing lane

Byers-Veal is showing signs of becoming "the real deal" in the not-too-distant future and here's why. She's long and athletic, which will ALWAYS be the base and she's a shade under "the magic number" which is 6'0. Watching her put in work on a star-studded team and playing UP is another reason and speaking of UP, yeah she elevates around the basket to score and block shots. She was the recipient of an alley-oop, scored off the dribble, and created her shot from outside

Evans is so smooth and confident playing with and against older players that her future is already set in stone on the court. The more I see her, the more I can CHISEL what's coming and I'm being FO-RIZZLE. She's one of the most powerful guards I have seen in her class and whether it's posting up players to score around the basket or score off the dribble, she creates contact and also finishes afterward, that's huge in itself. Her midrange is solid, she also rebounds and defends

Merkel grabbed my attention back in March at the PBR Prime Event and to show me I wasn't seeing a mirage, she simply left me speechless. Partly, because of her mannerisms, as she's all business and is showing the "you can't stop me" mindset, and unlike many, I can't and won't make this stuff up. I knew she could drop the 3, but her "catch and shoot" is very effective plus she did a good job playing the passing lane. One move, her spin in traffic to score, dropped the MIC

Ramsey also made the Tip Sheet from The Prime Event back in March so what's new? Quite a few things because her numerous fakes coupled with her deceptive first step kept the defender off balance and watching her attack the basket off the dribble and drop the FLOATA gave me a boost. Her ballhandling as well as court vision under pressure is even better because of the heat she was going against and she even used her quick hands to come away with some steals

Biggerstaff has the right last name because she plays bigger than her listed height and I foresee the staff trying to guard her because she's HEADY and her comprehension is ahead of her years so watching her see the floor in the set as well as in transition was a plus, as was her using a deceptive first step to attack and finish. Her body control is solid, so is her "on the ball" pressure and she plays the passing lane

Here are some other 2029 players that grabbed my attention
