Merkel had some moments that really had her as a game changer. Not only did she come up clutch with her handle, weaving in and out of pressure but she hit a few big shots from deep. None bigger than a left wing three-pointer that really sealed the deal for her team to head to the 3SSB Final. This girl has a bright future ahead of herself. Keep an eye on her moving forward, she is young and has major potential.

Merkel grabbed my attention back in March at the PBR Prime Event and to show me I wasn’t seeing a mirage, she simply left me speechless. Partly, because of her mannerisms, as she’s all business and is showing the “you can’t stop me” mindset, and unlike many, I can’t and won’t make this stuff up. I knew she could drop the 3, but her “catch and shoot” is very effective plus she did a good job playing the passing lane. One move, her spin in traffic to score, dropped the MIC
